I'd say game packs are alive and well we just sometimes call them expansions now if they toss in wine making. Expansions use to mean a broad theme in which a subject is fleshed out in multiple aspects while game packs meant a smaller dedicated theme like a single occult or a horse.
I'd love to see a gym stuff pack community lots are so ignored in this game. I'd like the option for a personal trainer as well I need more interactive game play not just more single Sim objects.
I do think being free is smart it's going to pull in a younger audience who parents might not be willing to shell out $60 for a base game but will buy many $5 kits.
At this point if they push out Rene unfinished with things like missing life stages no personalities or cars would that surprise anyone really what pack has not been incomplete and shallow besides Get Together which was pushed back and became the strongest expansion for it.
Yes we desperately need hobbies but hobbies that are not shallow and poorly animated like football soccer and basketball I'd actually like to see these 3 things updated with more than tossing a ball or take turns game play. I also want more group hobbies like being able to play musical instruments together in bands or…
I'd like to see a major update on traits so that they are meaningful and most importantly noticeable just by watching the Sim. Cheerful These Sims trigger Happy more easily, or at least offset being Sad. They tend to take emotional boosts from any positive moodlet. Maybe we could get some unique trait specific idle…
No matter how many packs you own how many so called "personality" updates are done the game always remains the same the Sims remain without personality they all act and animate exactly the same a mean Sim is going to act like a cheerful Sim worlds will always remain small and uneditable and poofing will be a thing as cars…
Seeing how much content they put into the last expansion I'm not surprised they could put out 3 "expansions" the horse pack was a game pack at best. Everyone mentioning apartments makes me sad we continue to pay for features they won't give us to build on our own and beg to pay for it again and again. Building your own…
The customization is insane really liking the trait options got hot headed and flirtatious it will be nice to just make a character angry or flirtatious without having too actively do it myself assuming the traits work similar to Sims 2. I wonder how the city upbringing trait will affect the personality and behaviors. Not…
I'm liking the store displays and all the items you can buy but I'm not liking there being no checkout or cash register it does not feel like a grocery store without. There should be some type of interactive game play with employees on every lot such as when your person first goes to the gym they should have to purchase a…
Nice to see some more balding hair options for our older Parafolks really like the style of clothing they went with I'm not going to instantly have to turn to cc to play unlike Sims 4.
I really hope they add in a community lot dress code options one you can set up with employee's outfits and for visitors with options like anything goes - formal - everyday - swimwear or set individual outfits. I hate when you have no control like Sims 4 Halloween costumes its always random the player should have full…
Besides cc which I have so much of I rarely add mods that actually change the game I just don't feel like constantly updating and hoping the person created it updates it. Besides clothing hair eye colors and cc like that the only other thing I use is a height slider thankfully it only broke once in all these years.
Why do the Sims team only support women? Last year we got a patch in celebration of women (tattoos by female artist and other stuff) the same holiday rolls around for men and dead silence no patch of equal celebration. I put a great thread of ideas in which we could also be inclusive and celebrate men on that day the same…
Rod Humble who is leading Life by You is far from a newbie he's the exact opposite of that, that man is a legend. Now Paralives might be a team of newbies but it's a passion project and from the look of it a lot of thought and care is being put into every feature don't count them out just yet.
Crazy 9 years later and some of my most wanted objects were simply base game in the past that may never see Sims 4. * Cars * Skateboards * Surfboard * Drums * Pool table * Normal diving board not a stone platform. * Pool slide * Landlines + telephone booth, disables cell phone if placed on community or home lot for those…
Checking my original vote I have less hope for this game than ever Horse Ranch was a complete breaking point for me. I really don't expect much for this game at all even when highly requested features for personalities come they do nothing come with zero new animations or trait specific behaviors. Now horses a tiny world…
This makes sense a lot of their costly tiers only required you subscribe for 3 months to get their bonus added to the game like naming items not much of an incentive to continue longer unless you have money laying around and you really want to support once that 3 months is up you can drop to $20 and still receive the same…
I'm with Coconut27 on the arcade lot I was just saying the other day that the base game should have an arcade lot. Children need more to do than hang out at the bars and park like the Sims 4 base game. I think some are confusing what rabbit holes are. Rabbit hole gameplay is where your character vanishes you have no…
