Yes!! I have wanted to build a house on Sixam since the expansion came out. It is pretty useless as it is. You go there once and there is no reason to go back. There needs to be an Alien mall that sells imported human stuff as novelties as well as alien clothes and advanced tech upgrades for your rocket or ray gun. Maybe…
I always thought the glitches were hilarious. Baby needs a bath - dishwasher!! Baby is cold - barbecue!! Realistically, since they don't give you anything to do with a baby, I age them up in 24-48 hours. I would keep them around longer if you had fun interactions. Not that this is a suggestion thread, but my imagination…
So I adopted a pet while on vacation. I couldn't get it to follow me to the lodge, so I found a command to send it home. Apparently I sent it out of the country to my permanent residence, where there is no dog bed, food, pet sitter or toys. Will the humane society come take my dog? :o
If they are creating a side game, I hope it is either a Sci-fi spin-off where you can move to Sixam or a better version of Medieval. I might not mind loading screens if the did a good job of remaking TSM.
Prefacing this remark with the disclaimer: I am no expert! Is it the basketball hoop that is doing it? I have had sims continually try to get into my house if I have a juice keg on the premises. I no longer have kegs at my house. :#
@igazor, @bklienhart Thanks for the suggestions/instructions! Normally, I put in a pizza oven and call it done. :s But I would love a real oven in there instead of that fire hazard they set you up with. :p
@igazor Whaaa??? restrictbuildbuyinbuildings off Does this mean I can get a real stove in the adventure camp in China?? I didn't even know this cheat existed!! >>cries<<
I have played Lunar Lakes a bit. The crystal mine is just a spawn spot for gems, seeds and asteroids, and has a telescope. I don't know that I have ever done anything with the Kelvin Pavilion.
I either start with a story in mind - vagabond artist, shipwrecked, homeless teen - and build the sims to fit the story giving them traits to help/hinder as I see it. Or I decide I want to play a specific type of sim (usually based on someone I know) and put those traits together to see how it goes. Either way, I am in…
This is why I don't fly (rockets). It was bad enough I was expected to put that slimy fish in my ear, now, with those special enzymes, I am guaranteed to get an ear infection every time. And just try explaining to a Vogon doctor I need antibiotics, not a hyperspatial express route, and absolutely no poetry.
My sims (husband and wife) were at Uni and it was the weekend before 2nd session, so I sent wifey out to do some collecting while hubby built up his Jock influence. She collected 3 large meteorites and a double handful of small ones. She didn't get around to analyzing and selling them before getting too worn out from all…
It was either electrocution or jelly bean. I can't remember. But from very early on I learned to eat salad until level 2 cooking skill, mop before repair and avoid jelly beans at all costs. Unless you are *trying* to kill your sim and then they can eat the whole bush and not die. :s
@Avatarit You know, I tried that with the Charisma skill. But people at work reported me to Human Resources for talking and gesticulating so animatedly to the mirror in the Ladies bathroom. I was recommended for a mental health evaluation. :o I guess I should have kept to the privacy of my bathroom at home for that skill…
When you get home after midnight and realize you forgot to set your phone alarm for that Daily Deal you wanted at 10:30 pm. You blearily log into the Sims 3 Store and buy the item with 23 seconds to spare before going to crash!
I don't know if you still need this, but you can find the info in Crinrict's S3S browser. Very handy to identify your stuff. There are 28 individual items: MillSet.Sims3Pack lightingCeilingJarsMill.Sims3Pack sculptureChimneyMantleMill2x1.Sims3Pack sculptureChimneyBodyMill2x1.Sims3Pack sculptureChimneyTopMill2x1.Sims3Pack…
Hi @Katimeow. Welcome to the forums. When you say it is not there, what specifically are you not finding? I know some people expect this to be a venue and look for the Old Mill as a lot, but this is a set of pieces to build your own Old Mill. The water wheel is found in the hobbies section, the canning station in the ovens…
I was playing a world by @Rflong7 and didn't check out or edit anything before plopping in some families and running with it. It's a beautiful world (Bellatrix), by the way, if you like fantasy. I play on epic life span, so it is 5 weeks in when I get an invite to a party at the Honeycomb house, where the McDuffs live.…
It depends on your computer. Nowadays most people don't have issues because they have upgraded since TS3 originally came out and the new computer can handle it. I would say ignore it and load up and see how it runs. Then if you have a problem, reduce the settings in options to see if you can get a good experience before…
I never noticed it until you brought it up, but I have it, too. It appears to be limited to rain puddles for me. Since I haven't installed the weather mod yet, I usually play with rain off because it rains all.the.time. Which is probably why I never saw it until my current game with rain on. :o
I guess I will have to zoom in closer! I always thought that was a steampunk type design. Didn't look like a book to me. But my eyesight ain't what it used to be! Thanks!
There is a LTR that restores a Sim's reputation - clean slate - you could try and maybe this would fix your toddler's memory too. This would also affect Thornton, but she could win him back after.
@TadOlson Laptops are fun, and necessary for most of my sims, too. The OP asked us to exclude CC from the discussion. Is there a laptop disguised as a book in one of the expansions, packs or store content that I need to find??
