I agree, teaching to ride a bike is an awesome feature. In all honesty, I have no complaints about Growing Together as a whole. Of course, I was one who wanted a Generations-style pack since the beginning.
I have one save with child Sims in the main family, but I haven’t taught them to ride a bike much. Well, I have done a bit with the oldest, but I think I need to send them somewhere else to practise since the kid keeps cycling up the front steps somehow. But it is a fun addition!
I love infants, they’re freaking adorable! OK, they can be very frustrating at times, but they’re cute with their little noises, particularly when they dance! It’s also pretty interesting that so many people who are parents IRL (I don’t have kids yet) say that infants are pretty true to real life.
I have only one Child in my save, at the moment, the rest are younger. I have tried to have either of his parents teach him to ride a bike, but so far, neither parent has done so. What I got was a series of interesting photos with the boy teaching himself. Clipping, clipping and more frightening clipping. I didn't get the very first instance because it happened so quickly, I could barely believe my eyes! He rode down the front steps, (of which there are many) and then UP and over the fountain in the front yard then into the fenced garden next to the house's foundation. I may post these over on the Spammers Screenshots thread where they belong. Oi. I will try again next gaming session to have a parent step in.
