I have some points to spend on the store and I can't decide what to buy. So I thought I'd ask you guys for help and ask what really enhances your game or what store content you couldn't imagine not having in your game?
Swift (sp?) grow garden center. Specifically the composter. All my sims garden and so all my sims, without fail get this item. That and the tablets so they can listen to tabcasts say for charisma (something I don't mind if they get ahead of sooner than later)
I'd say Grim's Ghastly Manor but only because it came with one of my favorite outfits for male sims, specially vampires. The boldness beckons outfit is perfect for vampires and I love the fancy gothic look it has.
I enjoy a lot of it.
The SwiftGro is Awesome. I love using it to get my Sims rich.
I like the toddler stuff more. The swing for the babies, the Playpen, and the Walker are a must for me.
The Multitab is a must. I used to avoid it because it feels like cheating (I still avoid the baby-toddler stuff btw), but I am just so used to it nowadays and as such I can't live without it.
Shout out to the tractor, midnight hollow toy machine and its associated toys, violin, archery range, gambling stuff, and massage table as well.
Not a native English speaker. Sorry for any mistakes
Second, The Auto-Noms Automatic Pet Feeding Station! 👏🏻 Best thing ever for your pets. I always felt bad when my sims would forget to feed their fur babies.
Next for me would be these four rad items for babies and toddlers: The Dirty No More Baby Changing Station, the Head Start Playpen, Solace Snugababy Deluxe Baby Swing, and the Locomotion Toddler Walker. Seriously all of those make caring for babies SO much easier. 👍🏻
And lastly, The Infinite Zen Massage Table is nice. So is the MultiTab 6000
Those would be my picks out of the Store Items I can't play without.
The baking set, and the deep fryer. I use a mod that my sims have to go grocery shopping for ingredients, so when they first move in its, deep fried food XD
Hmm, let's think about it for a moment. There isn't really that much I'd put into that category.
1. The MultiTab 6000. It saves so much time for some skills, it isn't even funny. It allows for multi-tasking, too.
2. The SwiftGro Gardening station. Helps enormously with the weeding and fertilizing. Speeds up growth with at least two pushes per day instead of one. The only negative aspect: it seems to be a bit of a performance hog, but that's a general thing with gardening.
3. The Head Start Playpen. I'm not necessarily using it for skilling, although it even does that, but for "storing" toddlers that learned everything they can from their parents directly. Works much better if you have two toddlers, because then you can forget your family has toddlers.
Honorable mention:
The Rim Rockin’ Basketball Hoop. Sims love it, plus they get their athletics a slightly different way.
The baking set, and the deep fryer. I use a mod that my sims have to go grocery shopping for ingredients, so when they first move in its, deep fried food XD
@GraceyManor I like the idea of your mod! Does it work well? I don't use a lot of them, just errortrap, overwatch. Do you know if it does well with those? I know what the deep fryer is, but the baking set? I'm wondering if I'm missing out on some function.
Don't avoid the baby stuff! The walker is adorable and they can get handiness from it with the , 2 toddlers can socialize in the playpen, the swing is interactive and the parents can watch their infant or toddler

Shout out to the tractor, midnight hollow toy machine and its associated toys, violin, archery range, gambling stuff, and massage table as well.
@Rsanda Don't avoid the baby stuff! The walker is adorable and they can get fun and handiness from it even if it's not used to learn to walk, 2 toddlers can socialize in the playpen, the swing is interactive and the parents can watch their infant or toddler and get a relationship while their needs are maintained.
Shout out to the canning station, cuz the jars are super cute.
I've had the Multitab forever, but it's one I avoid cuz I think it's cheating, I've never used it! LOL
I have some points to spend on the store and I can't decide what to buy. So I thought I'd ask you guys for help and ask what really enhances your game or what store content you couldn't imagine not having in your game?
@liizzys1302 I tried to gift you some stuff I like, but you must play on a diff account name. If you wanna put it here, that would be great. I think what you appreciate depends on how you play and what packs you have. As an example, I don't have Supernatural so I wouldn't have the rocking chair if not for the store content. I also like all the laundry stuff, but some may not bother with it.
I like a lot of stuff that's not listed here such as the dog chew toy that's a candy cane cuz sim's nor their maid put it away so it's always available to the dog.
I loved the Old Mill Tea set.
It restored energy and increased relationships and gave my sims something to do while I focused on other sims.
@CK213 Ohhhhhh you're not in TS4? Or maybe both? I have this and I keep meaning to add it to my town. I have an idea for it using the bathroom doors so to prevent the gifting of flower fests that I see among my already married to someone else sims.
I cannot play without the Bohemian Garden set (As half of my Sims tend to have the "Love The Outdoors" Trait, it's only natural I have the Bohemian Garden Set)
I cannot play without Riverview or Hidden Springs.
Actually, I can't live without any of my Store Stuff
I love this thread! I can't play without the Swiftgro Gardening Station if my sims are gardeners. It's a must have.
For decorating during the holidays, I love the Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Halloween sets in the store. They're free!! Makes the holidays so much merrier.
And lastly, that beautiful hanging chair that looks so perfect on a porch or the side of your houseboat. Came with Bohemian set.
@jaletu2005
I love the SwiftGro Gardening Stations for underground gardens. If the garden is outside, I usually only have one gardening station and supply water to the remaining plants via sprinklers upgraded to auto-water the plants. I don't often fertilize my plants, so it isn't necessary to have all of the outside plants inside gardening stations.
The Sweetly Swept Back hair for guys. The Curly Tuft Hair and The Toddler Hawk for toddler boys. The Cinna-Sweet Hair Rolls for toddler girls.
Dr. Prosper's Glowing Orb wall light. I use this all the time for the porch light.
The Excessinator Stove (learning cooking faster).
Techniphobic's Terror Television (Gothic Glamour Living Room).
Straightforward Short Bookcase End as it is stylish and only takes up one square. Because of its low profile, I can hang paintings above it. I have one for cookbooks, recipes, etc in the kitchen, one for skill books in the living room, one for books my Sims have authored in the living room, one for the toddler books and the pregnancy books in the nursery, and one for all the other books in the living room. Sometimes I put the authored books and the other books together in one bookcase.
The 110% Treadmill. I like the design of it and blue is my favorite color.
King of the Park Chess Table is the one I almost always use.
Technically not store items as they come with Supernatural, but I always buy the Gem-U-Cut machine, and Mrs. Stingley's Beekeeping Box.
If I am farming, the Milkin It Dairy Corral and the Fowl and Feathers Chicken Coop.
As weird as it may sound, I have played without store content and I end up liking to use less and less.
Right now, there are a few clothing items that I really like. I also reinstalled Lucky Palms, the Casino, the violin and the chicken coop and the cow stable.
I can't play without Serenity Retrat venue, it's my favorite hangout spot for dates. It's also great for weddings and I think it's the most beautiful of all venues.
I also love the greenhouse set, not for the venue, but for building my own greenhouses in my Sim's homes. I almost always have a greenhouse, like I can't imagine doing gardening without it.
When it comes to clothing, there's a lot of amazing sets like Luxury Resort Attire and Everyday Casual Chic that I use almost always. Homecoming is also one of the best clothing sets ever because it comes with amazing dresses like no other set in the Store.

C'mon...no-one mentioned Lord Vladimir's Conjuring Pot. If your computer balks at playing with Pets...(like mine does)...I only have my Pets EP active for Spherefish's hunting mod and max out the number of deer and raccoons in Register, you need something to conjure up those priceless gemstones that are your way to riches. Every so often before you pass out (if you conjure too long) you conjure up a Tiberium. Soulpeaces and Pink Diamonds are the true riches though.
Just a warning though, don't conjure TOO much. Or you'll end up like Haruo here.
Always "River McIrish" ...and maybe some Bebe Hart. ~innocent expression~
I know this probably seems like an odd 'must have' object because it doesn't do anything or help my simmies advance on any way. It's just a simple little wooden bread box which sits by its lonely on a counter or sometimes on a shelf in my sim's kitchen.
To me the bread box serves as a symbolic reminder to always be grateful. And, I am grateful for all the joy this game has brought me and the things it has taught me.
If my simmies were to open the box and find it empty of bread, that's not a bad thing, it only means 'prosperity' for them is still in the making and not ready yet. If they should open the box and find it full, well there's peace in knowing they won't be hungry.
I have 5000 points. I am not sure how I got them. They came packaged with some packs and worlds that I bought I think.
I have waited to spend them, until I know better what I am doing. I just bought the MultiTab 6000. It was on sale for 200 points.
I have been looking at Lucky Palms. It is one of 6 worlds that I do not own. What is Katy Perry Sweet Treats? I keep getting told that I do not own it.
KPST is what's known as a stuff-pack. You have EPs which are expansion packs and stuff packs which contain...well...lots of stuff to beautify your sims' homes or add vehicles or stuff like that (building stuff). Katy Perry's Sweet Treats was a limited time stuff pack that was done in collaboration with Katy Perry and it contains a whole bunch of sugary sweet decorations to litter your lot with.
The game tells you what packs you don't own. And of course, now that EA no longer has that collaboration agreement they can no longer sell the stuff pack through EA App/Origin. It seems the only place where you can get KPST is through either Amazon or eBay.
Unfortunately, I don't have Stiff As a Board, Light as a Feather...
Another item you might find of use is Lord Vladimir's Conjuring Cauldron. It's a lot of fun if you have supernatural sims...even non-Supernatural sims can use it. Although don't use it too much at one go or your poor sim might end up like Haruo here.

I fully understand the types of packs in Sims 4, but do not yet fully understand the types of packs in Sims 3, yet. I bought the "complete" collection at Steam and then found out that it was not "complete". It did not even include the base game. LOL. Thanks for explaining! I still have some things to purchase to round out my "complete" collection. I am not into clutter, but I LOVE functional objects. I will check out the cauldron. Thanks!
Basically, if you need and like kids ' stuff, there is a way to get sets worth thousands of points from the store by spending only a few hundreds. But you have to do it in the exact order described in the first post, by using complete-a-set to get the Animals Abound Playground. I did it and it worked!

My must have shoes to go with the wedding gowns are these
https://store.thesims3.com/productDetail.html?productId=OFB-SIM3:71643&scategoryId=11772
I use these more than I ever thought I would for little girls
https://store.thesims3.com/productDetail.html?productId=OFB-SIM3:19075&scategoryId=11804
Here's a sink I use all the time
https://store.thesims3.com/productDetail.html?productId=OFB-SIM3:52252
I love this because it functions as an end table in the kitchen. I like the plate rack and many pieces from the Bayside set; they're unique and add to the kitchen.
https://store.thesims3.com/productDetail.html?productId=OFB-SIM3:17143
As mentioned, I don't have Supernatural so without this and another one from a larger set I wouldn't have the rocking chair feature
https://store.thesims3.com/productDetail.html?productId=OFB-SIM3:65763
The toddler clothes and hair add needed variety and so do the sinks and stoves from the store. I have all of these and I use all of them.
