@CK213 That's a great story, and a very creative way to use Cassandra's new powers.
I haven't bought Realm of Magic yet, but your story has intrigued me.
There are times when I think playing a Spellcaster Sim would be fun, but I've been wary of having wizards flying through my Simworld, randomly casting spells, simply because I've added RoM to my game. I read somewhere that unplayed Spellcasters only do their thing in Glimmerbrook. Does that mean they also don't fly on their brooms when they travel to other worlds?
I don't recall seeing anyone besides the sims I control using magic.
Sims are quite surprised when they see magic being performed. It feels like an underground ability.
I have six other spell casters in my game and you wouldn't know it from observing them.
Are you kidding? That's emergent game play. Bring her back from the dead even it takes some time.
@CK213 Thanks for your quick response. That's reassuring. I just finished watching one of Carl's videos about Realm of Magic, and he mentioned that he was seeing premade Sims regularly turning into Spellcasters. Maybe that's been toned down, since the video dates from RoM's release.
All I need is to have Geoffrey Landgraab constantly flying into my face on a broomstick. Without a mod, his obsession with running past my Sim's house is annoying enough...
@CK213 Excellent job. Thank you for illustrating so well that an active and creative imagination is a most precious commodity.
Thanks, VeeDub.
This was fun and it gave more depth to one of the Dormies I will be adding to my game.
I believe I will use her experience to have her change majors and embrace the technology that almost killed her.

I didn't vote and I'm glad I didn't. It seems you came up with an awesome story. All I can think is, I really want this save. I'm rarely this creative.
Hi CK! I'm a little late but looks as though you handled this unexpected event in your own style. You set up the story perfectly. Me, I send my spellcasters to the bars when it's Ghost Night to dedeathify a few ya and adults. I never convert the elders just to have them die again in a short time. I love it!
In my house, dog hair sticks to everything but the dog.

I will have to give Ghost Night a try with Cassandra.
Is that event announced, or do you have to visit on a certain night of the week?

Thanks again for all those who participated in this Poll/Thread.
Katie Spent time in the Goth Family home while I rotated amongst my other sims.
The time has come for her to return to University.
There has been a few changes while she was away.
The dorm has some new amenities.
She happily indulged into the hot springs pool out back.
Those Britechester students are so pampered.
Foxbury is jealous. Of course this will probably result in some deaths by freezing in the winter time.
And someone may drown in the Koi pond next to it. I'll have to keep an eye on Katie.
A sleeping pod has been added to the science lab.
The rocket kit out back is now working thanks to a mod.
As my first Britechester physics major, she will be taking advantage of those.
I am sure Cassandra Goth will become her BFF.
"Whoa... whoa...!"
Oh boy, she is a clumsy sim.
Even more likely she might die in the Koi Sprite pond.
This should be an interesting stay at Uni.
Katie loves tech and has the latest gadgets.
Cassandra and the others only have one term to complete University.
Katie will be staying on for three or four more terms after they leave.
The coffee maker gets a lot of use around here.
Edmond!
OMG!
The girl dies from shock and you think it's funny to pull a shock gag on her?
That deserves a shove.
Well not much of a shove.
The poor thing is exhausted from a heavy course load.
It is time for the sleep pod.
I am suddenly reminded of the Alien movie.
A chest burster, how unnerving.
"Not to worry, there are no Xenomorphs in The Sims 4."
Anyway, it's great to have Katie back and better yet, have control of her now.
Smile, next pose.
That's one for the wall.
Hopefully Katie will survive her stay at University.
The spellcaster resurrection works just fine. I've resurrected several sims, even the ghosts at Von Haunt Estate.
I'm kinda facing this question in my own save.
One of my played sims is a spellcaster that I made by making her family history all up through the grandparents and then their kids and then her - and then "killed them all" with effects would fit people getting offed by some evil wizard plot...
(I never made the evil wizard... maybe I should go make a new townie... hmmm...)
Now my spellcaster has learned the resurrection spell, and her apartment is often visited by the ghosts of her ancestors because I kept all those sims around in their own "homeless household."
Does she resurrect them and end up with a grandmother who's technically younger than her... (awkward - sounds like a CW plotline: my teenage grandmother is a witch come back to life and trying to steal my boyfriend, Weds on CW at 7pm) or let a pack of crazy ghosts keep wandering around.
I don't use Discord because it doesn't support multiple accounts and I don't need folks at work wondering what I'm doing even on my own time. Until Discord catches up with every single other voice / video conferencing system, I limit where I use it:
Edit to say, she should have smacked Edmond around a little more!
That really surprised me I thought he was just giving her a friendly greeting.
I hit pause when he began shocking her. I wanted her to smack him around, but she was too tired.
Edmond has been given the role as the dorm's practical joker.
He tried that on Cassandra and she quickly put him in his place as a chilly decoration.
That did feel good, because Edmond has been annoying due to his new role.
It's a shame though, because I was considering making him and Cassandra a couple because of the prior term.
Perhaps after Uni.
Lol, good for Cassandra! Don't you just love those lovely spells!
@Jyotai, I think you should start your own story thread...this story sounds very interesting! (I think you should stick to the younger Grandmother, time travel vs. time warp type thing.)

Exie hay, cavero, mabza meeah vendarzo.
Yevsas mairzeemo!
I wish I knew the name of this drink.
It looks like a Butterbeer.
[Edit]
Wutaheftabir, and it happens to be Cassandra's favorite drink.
I can just have her make her favorite drink and pretend it's Butterbeer.
Because I can't; I keep all sigs turned off.
Thanks, VeeDub.
