    Do I Keep My Global Superstars Children the Same? (Poll)

    My TEST save is catching up to my Main Save. As many of you may know, I am reliving Erik Cantrell's life from his rise to fame, through his University years, to his engagement and marriage. Since the group has two days left of their Third and final Term, I need to have some questions answered before I get too far advanced. I plan on playing a more traditional Rotate Save this time, if I can make it work and keep my need to control in check. LOL So, since I absolutely enjoyed the way Erik's children were born — I did not preplan anything but the fact they were having a baby. So, the twins were a bonus I never expected. Nor did I orchestrate the birth order/gender in any fashion. Rather, I let the game call the shots and found it very relaxing. But, now I'm wondering should I use this same method or orchestrate the same birth order and gender?

      My gut instinct is let the game decide, but there are attractions to both ways. Maybe let the game handle one pregnacy and plan out a second if you want?

      The control freak in me says do it the exact same way. I've tried replaying sims that I had played before, and I always feel weird about going a different direction with their lives (spouse, kids, career, etc.). I never play very far before I just scrap the entire save.

      On the other hand, shaking it up a bit could be interesting.

      I’d use the “test” save as an experiment to find out how many differences and similarities exist compared to the “official” save.

      Well I tend to be bit repeater about my sims families so once i settle their story on something that is basically their fate that would repeat in every universe

      = in that way i would say to keep it same

      but tbh it depends how much you liked how it went previously

      because well even as serial repeater some things just are better in different way and the fates must be adjusted

      I vote new save, new way! Let the game decide!

      I did that once with a couple, they had a son only on my main save. Dumped the younger version of the couple to be neighbors in my NSB challenge save and whoa! They had triplets! 😂 a lot of cute girls for my heir to pick from though in that save! 😏

      There's something to be said about loosening up those tired plotlines, which I have already done. The only thing I brought back, this time was the first names of Erik's two sisters-in-law.

      I like to think I'm on an alternate reality when I play rotational. Calming for me to have a general basis of a sim's life to go from, this is why I play presets so much.

      Normally I’d say let the game decide. But considering you using a test game, you may feel the real game disappointing if results don’t match. Especially if you’ve tested something on the babies in the test game. So, I just don’t know.

      There are no babies in the TEST game, just yet, which is why I asked. But thank you for your insight. I do think I'll miss the identical twin girls, especially. And little Cadence was just pure joy. I put off playing my game for about two days, knowing she was about to age up. I think I can handle it, if they don't look quite like they did in the Main save, but oh, well. I'm torn in half.
