    @SamelaRita I have another question about the one tomato challenge sense Ella has the mooch trait can she ask her friends for money I ask because it's fall in game all her plants are dead and she only has 20 simleons
    She can mooch to pay her bills, once she's run out of tomato money. She can't mooch to help her build anything. She can only mooch once the bill has arrived, and once she's got enough to cover the bill, that's it, she has to stop mooching, so Mooch Small Amount works best.

    PS Just seen Dakota - what a great dog!

    Well if she can only mooch to pay her bills and all of her money has to come from the tomato can I cheat the weather sense it's fall in game she's freezing Every night and all her plants are dead

    You can set the weather any way you like - really long summers and springs and short winters and so on.

    AWSIM I didn't see any way that this challenge could be possible if you couldn't change the season

    Hello my dear @LMC6255 on the fourth day of the Gift Exchange you can open box No 4 :D

    Get your walking boots on and take a little hike with me just up the road from Valley View towards Bayview Park. ... I'm afraid Grady's Junkstop had to be relocated to make room for the 'Pinochle Terrace' ... can't have all that scrap downgrading the new neighbourhood ;)

    This lot is something a bit different from your posh detached homes. Pinochle Terrace is a housing association property ... the middle terrace is for your sims to occupy, the rest is rented out to some of the hardworking NPCs ... By the way it would be advisable to lock the doors as those pesky NPCs seem to prefer a place with nice facilities :p

    The gardens are tiny but the park is just a stone throw away :D

    Ok I don't mean to be a bother but @samelarita I have another question about the one tomato challenge win you say tomato money it doesn't have to be from gardening right like if you make enough money to buy a street art kit from gardening you can paint for tips right and one more question can your sims except opportunities ?

    Pinochle Terrace has been checked and is good to go o:)

    This building is terrific! Love the red brick, small front yards as well as the color palette and comfortable furnishings.

    @Hidehi I hope you are having a lovely day, today! Thank you, I love it!! Pinochle Point is definitely becoming more and more stylish, I am glad you did away with the junk yard.. ;) Again, I love the architecture, the windows and roofing style are fantastic!! I also love the flower beds you attached to the front of the building! The scenery, you chose, gives Pinochle Terrace that beautiful ambience that this captivating residence deserves! ;)

    I also love the way you decorated the main unit, I really love the tiled wall you used in the kitchen and how it blends with the walls in the dining room! Plus my NPCs have never had it so good! Although I don't blame them for wanting to sneak into the main unit.. :D Thank you, this a hiking journey that I will never forget!! <3

    It's late here (in the UK) so I'll get back to you tomorrow - just dropped by to check things, but I think my brain's shut down for the night!

    @Hidehi I love Pinochle terrace too <3:)

    Like Ciane, this house is my favorite of the houses you've made. I agree with the cat - someone does need to put a crimp in Claudia's plans! :D The family is beautiful, as are the cat and the house. I know I will enjoy them, along with everyone else. Both the house and the family will look fabulous in Monte Vista.

    @Hidehi
    Oooooh! Pinochle Terrace is definitely my favorite of your builds here so far. I love the roof trims you used, they give just the right touch to the fronts of the house. From the pictures you showed, your inside furniture looks homey, and old world. I love the vibe it gives off. It's a great build, whether for a player's family, or for townies. This is a wonderful build that would look great in many of the worlds, but particularly Sunset Valley and Riverview.

    @ciane
    Aww, the caboose is so cute and it looks like a caboose to me, so no worries there.
    Oh, creepy tale about a train conductor.Reminds me of an old childhood show I watched
    "Are you afraid of the dark? The tale of train magic." My sims will for sure love stopping here as well.
    All these haunted lots make me wish we could do actual ghost hunting with EVPs and such.But that's
    just my ghost hunter traits coming out.XD

    @seaben Dakota is a very darling dog, I am sure she will be a wonderful addition to any Sim household! :)

    @ciane : Caboose number 2 is fascinating with it's interesting back story! Wow, you do a fabulous job researching your builds! Great CASTing job!
    @SamelaRita : I loved meeting the Biondelli Family and hearing the description of each member through the eyes of their cat, especially their matriarch which strikes me as a rather ambitious woman.. I can see some very interesting stories here full of intrigue, and lots of humor as well.. :)
    I love the house design and the décor is very cozy, I especially love the terrace area!

    Thank you again for your kind words! I am so glad you like all that I have built for you so far.. I wanted to make sure that the characters in your story have a way to meet their needs, despite their struggles.. I realized that since the town had a very dry terrain, Old Pete would not be able to graze and he would go hungry, so I figured a horse supply store, even a abandoned one could be of great help to poor Arthur..

    Tomorrow I got another surprise for you my dear buddy! ;)

    @Jessabeans : I am so happy you stopped by!! :) I miss "seeing" you.. :( Thank you for all your kind words! I guess, since Summer is almost here and it' already pretty warm where I live, a pool was a definite must in both residences! :)

    @suzses Hello, it is so nice to "see" you! Even though there are only a few of us this time, there has been so much creativity, I am also in awe of all that the buddies have created! I look forward to reading your comments.. ;)

    @BreeMiles : Thank you for your kind words! I am curious as to how these very delipidated lots will finally be restored in SamelaRita's next tale.. ;)

    Another lovely lot @Hidehi! I love the symmetry and its variations. The gardens all set up differently, yet so appealing and the Dragon Valley roof pieces are a very nice touch.

    Coastal 2 bed 3 bath has been checked and is good to go o:)

    The turquoise is eye-catching as is the overall shape of the home! Seems pretty spacious for a small family.

    @seaben - Love the porch and gables! Great layout. With an art studio, office, and grand piano, this home offers a nice living for sure. Thank you so much!

    @seaben:
    Coastal 2 bed 3 bath is a very cute little home! I like how you used the dormers for small skilling areas. :) The wood and stone in the various rooms gives a nice homey look to the place.

    I'm glad sometimes I wonder if I use to much wood in my builds speaking of wood the last sims 4 patch removed the wood tub and toilet and that was my favorite tub in the game at least the sims 3 isn't going be updated so thing like that don't happen I'm going to try to find some cc that looks like that tub but this a sims 3 thread so no more sims 4 talk 🤐

    @seaben Nope. Basically, your sim can only make money from the tomatoes (and any other plants). No getting money from tips. And I played without accepting any opportunities that had money attached, so if it was just an improved relationship one, I'd do that one, or an improved skill one. Your sim can paint things for their own home if they want to, no problem.
    I love the garden in your build, especially the autumn trees against the colour of the house. Beautiful :)

    @MiaSkywalker I don't think I've thanked you yet for doing all this custard checking (oops!) and I know I haven't thanked you for all your kind comments on my builds. So thankyou, thankyou, thankyou! <3:D
    @Mmdrgntobldrgn @ADWilson and seaben of course, I've tweaked the One Tomato rules slightly to reflect the questions you've been asking as you've played the game. Thanks for the input :D and yay! for game testers!

    @SamelaRita - In your rules, you say:
    The Lot.
    Can’t have any building on it at all.

    Then you say:

    Relationships.
    No asking anyone to move in or getting married until you have a house and furniture – bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room.

    So, I'm guessing you can't have a building when you start, but over time, with income from your one tomato, you'll be able to build a home.

    My company leaves this morning, so then I'll have some simming time. First I'll play with the family that @seaben made for me and Dakota. Then, I'll attempt this challenge, which is on page 12. (It isn't linked on the first page @ADWilson. Maybe you would like to add the link to the first page. It's here: https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/comment/17522835/#Comment_17522835)

    Yes - your aim is to build yourself a home and a life, from your one tomato!

    @GraceyManor it's time for day 6's gift. We've traveled along the mother road stopping to fuel up, visit haunted sights, grab an ice cream treat, and now the road ends at a very popular pier.

    I built on Popular Pier in Island Paradise. I left the boat dock attached, so you could add a boat at the end of the pier if you want.

    ETA:
    Popular Pier has been checked and is good to go o:)

    Cute idea! Sims will surely enjoy this stop along their route of to and fro.

    @ciane You've produced another amazing building that's totally different from all the others you've built for this exchange. It's lovely (and reminded me to use the carousel when I'm not playing my current game!).

    Oh, @BreeMiles Something I forgot to say about your gifts - seeing as this was a Simversary event as well, I included a nod to the Sims 2 in your gifts. Do you remember when we could only have 4 hair colours..?

    @SamelaRita Good Afternoon, I hope you and your family are having a lovely Sunday!! :)

    For my final gift. :( I did save one of the best for last, of course! I am very pleased that you have enjoyed "My Art of Dilapidation Series" It has been an immense pleasure, creating and sharing all these creations with you! :)

    My final gift is called "The Forgotten Refuge".

    In it's hey day "The Forgotten Refuge" was better known as "Jubilee Square".. Jubilee Square was once a thriving social venue, downstairs it had a saloon, and small hardware store, upstairs, there is a tavern and a small management office for when this multi business complex served the community with a, much needed, social outlet..

    Through a series of events, mostly neglect, Jubilee Square became the "Forgotten Refuge".. A place that is no longer a shadow of it's former self, with it's crumbling wall, brambles, rust everywhere, broken doors and windows it is now a place that most Sims would rather avoid.. I know that through your story telling magic, you will change that!! ;)
