LOL. How did I not know all this time that there were radio folders we could add music to? Duh.
Edit: so, how does that actually work? Does the game mix your music in with the simlish stuff on that station or just switch to just playing the songs you add?

Yes, it does mix them up. Still, while playing, go to game options and there will be a music section. You will see each radio station, their respective playlist and custom music you might have added. Then you can select which songs you want to hear in said station.
Ah, thank you. Then my answer is no. I don't mind the radio being on and I do listen when it is on on occasion but not as a rule. My Sims are the ones that turn on the radios and usually its me that turns them off because they NEVER do! Also, if not needed to influence gender, they decide on a station.
I don't like to have radios in my game. I like to play my own music IRL.
When I do have radios playing, my sims always focuses on listening to the music/dancing, when they should be doing something else. I don't know if it's a glitch or not, but it gets very distracting to have one around.

My background noise is usually Netflix or something similar.
