Since even Lindsay posted #hype - or was that SimGuru Frost - it must be pretty big. I mean, they tend to downplay stuff.
Well months ago we were told we are getting an EP, GP and SP within the next 6 months and I'm almost wondering if they will be announcing all of them at EA play with the EP releasing in June and SP in July and GP in August.
They don't like to announce specific content (themes) too far in advance to avoid forum meltdowns. I think the EP will be end of June/early july, SP in August then GP in September. Then possibly another EP for the holiday shopping season around US Thanksgiving (end of November).

Of course it's on Saturday. Face/palm. My little grandson will be back with his father over the summer. The family (grandparents, parent, aunties/uncles, cousins) are attending a second birthday party for him, since we couldn't attend. He lives with his mom in Iowa. Plus, he missed Christmas with us, too. All that to say, I'm counting on some of you to post what you learn from the live-stream I will be missing.

Don't worry. I think there will be info posted on here as it is being talked about on the livestream - ''EP7 Just Announced!!!!!''
I've got a feeling that something big will be coming to the Base Game to... Like... cars or preteens or... OOOOH, WHAT IF THEY ADD ANOTHER WORLD!!!!!!! And if it's as big as Windenburg it would make perfect sense as to why it's now 64 bit.
@telmarina The walking stick is an insect you can collect in Granite Falls from the Outdoor Retreat game pack (if that's what you meant by "??").
Thank you @GrumpyGlowfish. English isn't my first language. For a moment i thought that it was an activity to do in GF that I've never been aware of.
There is an activity in Granite Falls. Just click on your active sim and you'll see 'go hiking.' It's pretty underwhelming, because they literally just walk around (by themselves, not in groups) and no walking stick.
Also, if your sim's a gardener, at some point they can 'nature walk' which looks pretty much the same only you can do it anywhere.
The hiking actually has a purpose. They hike around routes that have spawners and every time they pause to change direction there's a herb or insect spawner nearby. It's an easy way to find the collectibles.
Just a warning. There's a huge Windows 10 update and if you get offered it (optional) it takes about 6 hours to download and update and even that gets an update later. I would check and update to get it out of the way before Saturday, (best overnight) just in case. I speak from experience today and I've got a top level broadband package and a gaming PC. I wish you luck if you have a poor connection!
Oh, noes!! Dell has been peppering me with updates for the past month, and I am sick of getting updates. They always pop up while I am busy doing something else. At the moment I have all auto updates turned off so I can look through any update notes before installing it. And didn't we get a huge update from Windows just a few months ago? I remember waiting forever for it to download and install. Like you, I have an excellent internet package so it was surprising it took so long. But a six hour long update? Holy cow. We have four pcs that all run Windows. We're currently in Oregon on a little vacation so I won't be able to do anything with this update until after we get home. I appreciate the heads up @Simburian!

Check your OS version @Paigeisin5 You might already have it, 9013. This one actually gives you the option to download and if you do get it, the new version 9013 now has an option to pause updates for up to 35 days. Maybe one at a time? It doesn't seem to force your download this time.
It also has options for filters for those who are colourblind and you can enlarge the mouse cursor as large as you like plus some other stuff I haven't checked yet.
I'm just sorry for those still on the old OS's XP, Windows 7 etc., as Microsoft have an urgent update for those as there's a nasty virus/worm problem they've found recently.
Edited as you can actually pause Updates for up to 35 days and not 7! Worth having just for that.

Unfortunately for me time is slow well actually too fast technically. I'm in the GMT +1 time zone which means I am 9 hours ahead of PST time. Which means when the announcement happens at 12pm on Saturday it will be 9pm Saturday my time. So it's more like 4 days for me! Cant stand this waiting!

Same here, I'm hoping they will show the trailer first, the entire Europe will be waiting for the trailer to go to sleep afterwards haha
@Simburian Thank you for the info. Since I am away from my main pcs, travelling with just my gaming laptop at the moment, I will look into this later today. My gaming laptop is a newer Dell and they have been hammering me with updates lately, but the OS is the 9013 version. Now I will have to take a look at our other computers when we get home. I have a feeling our two older computers will need to be updated. My newer desktop is just six months old so perhaps it is in the clear. But again I thank you for the info. It was nice of you to give everyone a heads up.

I wish I could get a brand new gaming laptop!
Updating could give Simmers something to do for the next few days to take their minds off Saturday and upcoming Patches, EPs. There's few things worse than a Windows Update downloading in the background taking all the bandwidth when a Sims Patch also wants to download.

That it does.

Most likely not as casinos would take away from more tropical stuff. They'd have to cut some beach stuff out.
If it's the official description then hotels are probably not in the pack but I'm hoping it's just a random placeholder.
Even cats and dogs mentioned vets in the short description.
