Pandora’s Rest is a lovely family home! @BreeMiles The exterior design, roofing, and brown brick wall texture are very nice! Very nice furnishing and layout of the interior! The colour scheme is nice and calming. Very nice sofa and armchairs sitting area for resting and chatting. The dining room is very nice. The type of dining chairs used are nice, and the musical wall art adds a nice look to the room. The vases of flowers are pretty in the rooms.
It is a very nice family home!
Your starter home is very nice! @greenXen It is great that it is only Basegame! All simmers can enjoy having it in their games. Very nice exterior design of the home! The angled roofing is very nice. It is great there is a gardening box for growing plants. Very nice blue colour of the exterior, and the blue and yellow colour scheme of the interior is very nice. Very nice open plan layout of living areas. Sims will have fun playing chess. The yellow circular floor rug is very nice in the room. The red seat is a great touch of red. Very nice study desk nook in the sleeping area for Sims to enjoy using the computer. They will enjoy listening to radio music.
It is great that you have made a variety of base game sims also, and given them creative background details
@Gwiniel, thanks for the heads up, and Thank you for the lovely comment dear! @greenXen your starter home and base game build is very lovely! The new players will enjoy it and a lot of us old ones too, your back to the basic sims are wonderful and will be awesome in our games! @rosemow Thank you sweetie!
Had to share it as a lot but it's purely for decorative purpose. The vampire coffin bed doesn't work as it's not meant to either. Sims can go inside, the stairs and doors work but there's really nothing to do but to view few decorations
The Mauseleum is very creatively great! @Gwiniel The exterior design, old white stone wall texture, lady statue and glass dome roofing are very nice! Very nicely furnished interior! Very nice design of the middle coffin area! The flowers either sides of the coffin, vases of flowers on the front ledge and either sides of the mirror, and the candles are very pretty and comforting for grieving Sims. Very nice side nooks with the floral arches, lady statue, flowers and candles on the table and floral wreath.
It is a calming and peaceful place for Sims to mourn
Wow, coming to this forum feed Always amazes me !!
You must excuse me -( I am so bad with Names)- This Mausoleum - is Gorgeous !! @Gwiniel
My Next creation is from real life- ( I hardly ever make a build from real life- once I did then it got weird- LOL-so then I could Not play the house in game )
But this is a house I have fond Memories from- I hope I can do it Justice..
Here is the real house :
Here is my rendering of it :
I will post more pictures as I go..
Last time I said that - I did not post more pictures, I think I burnt myself out with those college dorms last week.. LOL, But Now I am back ...
Your sims game version of the real life home is very nice! @Pinkusfamily You have reflected it so very well! It is looking great! It is nice that you have done the trees like the real life home also.
@Pinkusfamily Awesome recreation of the house. Very accurate. When you feel comfortable enough with terrain tools in landscaping, you most certainly can create that slight slope as well, just need a slightly bigger lot Thank you for your comment about the mausoleum
@rosemow Thank you for your kind and lovely review as always The "mirror" you mentioned is the swan sign.
Note: Just realized that the outdoor garden lights have sunk inside the marble tables in the mausoleum Was too tired yesterday
Steampunk Explorer is a lovely and detailed Steampunk themed home! @luckyheather Very nice exterior and outdoors areas! There are so many nice areas both indoors and outside! The corner pool nook is very nice. and very nice garden patch and bee hive. Sims will enjoy using the achaeology table outdoors in the air. The gazebo is very nice! Sims will enjoy sitting there listening to gramophone music. Very nice outdoors dining area for cooking meals on the bbq and eating the food at the umbrella covered table. Very nice furnishing of the interior! The upper level bar area is very nice! Sims will enjoy sitting on the stools having a drink from the bar. Very nice furnishing of the interior! The brown steampunk themed colour scheme is very nice. The clocks look great on the walls!
It is a very nice steampunk themed family home, both the interior and outdoors areas!
Thank you @rosemow , Your constructive input, motivates me & @Gwiniel Thank you. These comments mean a lot to me. They help me to strive to do better.
Yeah this 40x30 lot -I know-I really do not want to go for a bigger lot. The original real life house does not have a big back yard. Yet it does have more space in front - then I do have here on this lot..Also The house in real life is multi leveled -We do not have the ability to make stairs only of 4 steps then another level of a home -- yet ( keeping my fingers crossed that - the ability to do this comes...), so Its off inside..I had tried to work it that - The inside levels were there - then I could not connect some walls.. When I did do that I thought of using the terrain tool, I do see that there is an up flow of the land to the front of the house...I should practice with terrain tho- I know...
Thank you - I really appreciate all your in put....
This lovely home is set and ready for a large family with plenty of room and lots of things to do! Enjoy this lush and lovely home with your sim family! A BreeMiles Original Build!
@Gwiniel your Mausoleum is lovely! @Pinkusfamily your remarkable job on your RL house dear! @luckyheather your Steampunk Explorer is wonderful, love the detail you put in your builds m'dear!
Springdale House is a very lovely family home! @BreeMiles The exterior design, roofing and wall texture is very nice, and the landscaping of the outdoors areas is very lovely! The plants, flowers and water rectangles look so very nice! Very nice garden patch area for Sims to enjoy growing plants in the gardening boxes, doing flower arranging on the flower arrangement table and using the hive. Very nice furnishing of the interior! Very nice living room area for Sims to enjoy sitting on the sofa watching tv, or enjoy playing the piano in the music nook. Very nice dining room! The colour of the dining chairs are warm and nice, and the white wall panelling gives a nice calming look and feel to the room. It is nice there is a bar for Sims to enjoy sitting on the stools having a drink after their meal. The fireplace will keep the room warm and the landscape picture is a nice touch on the fireplace wall.
It is a very nice family home!
The two French Provincial homes are very lovely! @greenXen Very nice colour schemes of them! The yellow, brown and blue colours of the second home gives a very nice look and feel to the home, and the colour scheme of the first home is very peaceful and calming. The exterior design and pretty flower box open shutter windows are very nice! Very lovely water fountain and plants feature in the front courtyard! The back patio outdoors living, dining, pool and bar area is very nice! Sims will enjoy spending time outdoor resting, dining, having a drink and swimming. Very lovely furnishing of each of the interior rooms! The layout of the home and design of each of the rooms is very nice!
The homes are very nice!
This was gonna be for One Room, One Week, One Theme this week, but I decided it'd be more interesting to do some sort of bathroom for that. Hopefully I can get that done! Anyway, instead I made a Tudor bedroom for Renaissance sims and history nerds alike:
I build stuff and I'm always open for constructive criticism, so feel free to do that
The Tudor bedroom is very lovely! @meowcatmeowkitty The brown wall paneling, patterned curtains, and glass stained glass windows are very nice! Very nice fireplace area! The portrait is very nice on the wall, the white flowers are pretty and the bookcase is nice in the nook area beside the fireplace, Very nice canopy bed and patterned floor rug! The corner nook candles are a nice touch in the room.
It is a lovely warm bedroom that captures and reflects the Tuder era very well!
Thank you so much @rosemow for the lighting info! I have noticed there are some lots that showcase builds better because the light is stronger on the facade, but it was all trial and error on my part and me experimentally placing the build on various lots. So this info helps a lot!
