The exterior design of your House of the Future builds very creatively great! @CaptainStumpy Very nice roofing! The roof covered patio is a nice place for doing woodworking.
I hope that your work on your build continues to go well!
Okay. One more WIP with a broken link and I should be able to post links and start building a showcase for existing and new builds. This WIP is one of those super complicated builds that takes months of tinkering. It is based on an actual place, Thornewood Castle outside of Seattle. The real property is currently a B&B and wedding venue. I shrunk the design down a little to fit this mansion on a 40x30 since there are so few large lots and I enjoy making large builds. The exterior is nearing done but the interior needs a lot of work. I used reference photos extensively in this build to make it as authentic as possible.
@CaptainStumpy , love the castle! Your house of the future looks great. Perfect for the new town.
Your latest creation looks stunning. I love all the chimneys.
My WIP I am doing right now is from a Challenge Shell by NaJoPau and the challenge is #NJPChall5 and finishes June 15 if you want to join in.
Screenshots from yesterday and 2 of the original shell
Sorry my weather is cloudy atm, mine is on a 40x30 as I want to do a pretty garden with bridge and small building I hope today
Thanks @rosemow I have been working on it all today and now at nearly 5pm I need to stop my head hurts Lol but its nearly done now, so tomorrow I will finish it...phew at last, I dont do large homes often as I get bored but this one I enjoy as its a themed one, Asian
Your modern celebrity mansion WIP is looking very nice! @gmcrozier Very nice architectural design! The kitchen design and furnishing is very stylish and nice! Very nice corner of windows, and it is great that the dining table is there for Sims to enjoy eating in the sunlight.
I hope your work on it continues to go well
@gmcrozier your modern mansion is so gorgeous I love how it sits in the terrain and the white wall surround, so stunning I am scared of the terrain tool lol I just cant get on with it. One day I will spend hours practicing I think I hope one day I get confident using it for builds. Well done with yours I love it!
@luckyheather thank you for your kind words. I have bulldozed a lot of lots experimenting with the terrain tool. Your current WIP for NaJoPau's challenge is coming along nicely. I have started his challenge, but I may not finish it. Your build is looking great and is very unique compared to the ones that I have seen submitted already.
So I'm working on what's meant to be an Ottoman style mosque, and I'm really not feeling it. An example of one (you can google more if you'd like, but most of the search results will be of the Blue Mosque, which is much more grand than what I'm going for)
I'm considering changing up the color scheme to either be mostly sandstone yellow, or white and grey like the one in the picture. Are the pillars too repetitive? Should I replace some of them with a different kind of pillar? What do you think I should do in terms of details?
I build stuff and I'm always open for constructive criticism, so feel free to do that

As you can see in this pic there is still some terrain that needs to be resolved.

I am using this build to experiment with new ways to use moo.
I hope your work on it continues to go well
