Apocalypse Cit- Zombies that eat brains, rundown city, trying to survive*- and all the lovely accoutrements.
World Creator... City Maker... Town Rebuilder... Makin' Magic...
As for a pack I'd like to see, I think a hobbies game pack would be interesting. I feel like our Sims are in desperate need of things to do that don't involve partying. I would like to see a game pack that includes sports activities (like basketball, soccer, baseball, etc). It would also be pretty cool to see sewing and pottery making come back (like in Sims 2: Freetime). Maybe kids can do arts and crafts. Stuff like that. I feel like it should definitely be a game pack. It seems too big to be a stuff pack, but also too small to be an expansion pack. I think a game pack with stuff like this would be perfect!
Sims 1: Hot Date
Sims 2: Seasons
Sims 2: Happy Holiday Stuff
Sims 3: Seasons
Sims 3: 70's, 80's, & 90's Stuff
Sims 4: Seasons
Sims 4: Backyard Stuff
Sims 4: Spa Day Game Pack
Beyond that packs revolving around more careers, more life stages, more FUN! related gameplay elements or hobbies such as cricket, putt putt golf, golf course with country club, pool table, tennis court, basketball court, batting cages, ballad, sim fu. In my opinion a lot of fun things could be added and I would jump with excitement at the thought of any of these ideas put into the store.
I would like to have more awareness in sims to acknowledge hard work of other sims. If my sim is rich or my sim is poor the world around my sim should know other sims status. If my sim is buff and athletic skill to max other sims should see and react to it. I guess this goes with likes and dislikes sims should have things they like beyond traits. Some sims like buff sims, some sims like blue eyes, tan skin etc. this goes with dislikes sims should have things they dislike in other sims. Sims dislike rich sims, dislike certain activities and dislike sims who take actually like those activities. Sims should understand what other sims are wearing even some sims like upscale attire while others dislike it.
Anyways, these idea help creative a more vibrate world it gives sims deeper personalities, its not perfect all this is just off the top of my head. But sims really lack individuality sorely in the current state. They lack a much needed storyline and awareness outside of the player enforcing his/her ideas into a game session, a lot if left to the imagination and not to the actually game world its self and sims them self.
Sometimes your creativity is limited where you use it most, but you can use those limitations to inspire new forms of creativity you may never have thought of beforehand.
Farm Life
Hobbies
I definitely agree that the neighborhoods should become more alive!
As for the ones on the list, id love casinos and hotels. Especially if you can run them. I never understood the appeal of farm content though. That's one of the few pack concepts I have absolutely no interest in.
Something for teens and elder would be great too.
* For teens hang out spots, new community lots, more games to play, small game console, pimples, moody teens, goofing around, pranks, caught by police etc. (like ts3).
* For elders more options to create a proper and acknowledged retirement home. I do not like how townies still live in the same loft house with their granny roommates instead of the game moving them to a retirement home (and asks me first ofcourse). I dont have the time to manage ALL oldies in my game ofcourse, so id like that option.
They should also be able to babysit and play certain games with their grandkids. They need more to do beside gardening, playing cards, watch tv and read a book. Maybe knitting? writing? Taking a walk (works the same as jogging), feeding the ducks, doing cross word puzzles, order magazines etc.
And some clothing options to supplement the punk, country/western, etc with new 80s Hair Band spandex stuff added. (I may or may not just want to make a Lita Ford sim.)
I would love to have a game pack that expands on base game collecting. Making museums somewhat more interactive and sims a bit more to do with fossils, crystals, and metals dug up. Maybe use it in found art? Or melt the metals down for metalurgy? Could call it Archaeology, or Geology, or Dig Dug or whatever.
There's more but I let my imagination run wild and it can get hard to figure out what would work well as a stuff pack, what would be better for a game pack, and what's ambitious enough for an expansion pack.
Game pack can be specific to a particular theme like a casino, hotels etc
I love to see all this but for god's sake can we see first one of the popular themed EPs first? I really wonder when will The Sims 4 expand in the way the fans want it to! Something like University, Generations, Apartments, Pets, Seasons. Any of these. I want something substantial and game changing and at the same time more realistic.
I loved Late Night. I loved the 5 star celebrity. Sometimes I had a Sim start a new world, and cheated her right away to 5 star
Roaring Heights is beautiful, but they are in the 50's?, LOL. Didn't like the way they dressed, my sim was always different.....leather all the way!
RH's is full, I mean full, of celebrities though
If we get this in Sims4, I want the Red Carpet treatment, Royal all the way!
I would still like to see more Vacation type GP's..Like a Beach Resort.
And @Rflong7 - Yes the ever popular "Apocalypse Cit- Zombies that eat brains, rundown city, trying to survive."
What have I liked the most over the years? Fame and supernatural/occult life. I just loved Sims Superstar so much, and Late Night from 3 brought back that same joy. Then I loved werewolves, zombies, witches, and vampires from TS2, but I also enjoyed the same lot (plus the genie and fairy options) from TS3.
Farm Life could be interesting, but then the devs would need to create and animated and code animals... Maybe after a Pets EP?
(She/her)
They did it in The Sims 3 Store (cows and chickens) so it is definitely possible in TS4!
