Each of your starter homes are very nice! @Cerrydd It is a nice variety of different exteriors of the homes. They all look great! Great layout of the interiors of them. They are very nice homes for sims to start their sims lives in.
More great starter homes, nice job everyone! Really cool to see the different ways a 20k budget is used. My latest starter is for the sim who prefers space over decor when starting out. Ha! It is on the larger side and has the necessities to live comfortably until the $$ starts coming in.
Your Simple American Starter home is very nice @Chris2fer03 Very nice design of and texture of the exterior. The open shutter windows look nice. It looks nice how you have placed the flowers around the base of the mail box.

3 Bed / 2 Bath
Just under 20k.
Wow! That is fantastic, I can't believe you built that under 20K! My sims are so gonna move into that right now
So many lovely starters people are sharing, we are all getting spoiled for choice!
Working on another starter, I did two others but am unhappy with them so I'm trying to improve them a bit. This is another cabin style build for Crick Cabana in Willow Creek. That lot is next to a little fishing spot so an ideal location. Two bedrooms and one bathroom so this starter has room for a family of four. Covered deck, open plan living and landscaped grounds with a table to enjoy the outdoors.
Elm Tree Retreat is a very nice home! @DippyDesigns The roofing and covered deck look great. Very nice front outdoors sitting area. The way you have done the flowers there looks nice. I have posted about your home on your showcase thread.
I love Elm Tree Retreat, Dippy. I'm so happy to see bigger homes with more than one bedroom. And now I'm having a tough choice deciding which ones to use! @Cerrydd - that's a great looking home, very unusual style.
I'm slowly filling my hoods up with families, and - of course - they are all newly made sims with the minimum amounts of cash. So these lovely starters are proving very useful. Thank you to everyone who is contributing to the thread, you peeps are awesome
Your Hunter's Cabin starter looks great ! @Cerrydd Very nice exterior design of the home! The watch tower looks great! Great layout of the build. The enlarged rabbit on the footpath look great, and it looks grrat how you have also used the rabbit themed pattern for the interior walls. It looks great how you have placed the plants either side of the front footpath. Nice windows sleeping area in the home. Sims will enjoy looking out through the windows at the outdoors views whilst laying in bed.
I have quite a few starter homes in the gallery but only pictures of one on my computer. I am not quite sure how to post pictures but I will try. This is my newer starter called The Mini Modern it is 1bdrm 1 bath for 17,678.
Your Mini Modern home is very nice @kipperfan01 The roofing is great and it looks nice how you have done the covered over front entrance area to the home. It looks very nice how yiu have placed the flowers either side of the front door on the edges of the front of the home. They are very nice for sims to enjoy seeing when coming to the home. Great layout of the interior of the home. The curved island bar stool counter is great! It looks great how you have done the corner of kitchen cabinets. Sims will enjoy painting on the easel in the living room.
It is a nice starter home.
Some very nice starter houses here. I like @asphyxiateddoll Tiny Victorian Starter, great use of the columns @RoOoAr5RoOoAr5 Modern starter, what are those things in front of the window? Are those shelves? Looks very good! @Dippydesigns Andalusie, Nice garden! @Chris2fer03 Modernesque Studio, I like the shape of your house! And those little fountains in the backyard are great too!
Adobe Flat Starter is very nice! @cassee The exterior design of it is great! Great textures that you have used for the exteror. I have posted about your home on your showcase thread.
I recently shared a starter home for a couple. It is called 'Thimble Cottage' and it has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and an open plan living, kitchen/diner. It cost a bit over 17K and perfect for a starter. Here are some pics:
Thimble Cottage is very nice! @yanti68 Very nice exterior of it. The roofing looks great! It looks nice how you have placed the windows and planter boxes on the exterior of the home. The texture of the interior walls looks great. It looks nice how you have placed the plants either side of the fireplace, the yellow flowers picture on the wall and the leaves pictures on the wall between the windows for sims to enjoy seeing whilst sitting in front of the fire having a read of a book from the bookcase.
It is a very nice starter home
