Repopulating houses.

I evicted a bunch of sims because I wanted to populate the neighborhoods with custom sims but now I can't figure out how to put sims in empty houses without buying the house. Is it possible?

If anyone know please share, I want to know this too. I want to fill houses with custom created sims but without paying for it, since I won't be playing those sims.

You could use the freerealestate cheat to put those sims in the homes
