Social Media Career

I am trying to think of another rags to riches gameplay I haven't tried and I was thinking of the Social Media Career. I know with the addition to the studio thing that came with Get Famous this could be fun. But is it lucrative? Can my sim be rich (100,000 Simoleons) before he comes an adult? Was thinking of starting as teen. Any tips would be great for those who have done this.

Does anyone know if there is way to get followers easily without the social media career?

Those videos if edited pay very roughly the same amount in royalties per day as book royalties (from a publisher). S100-200 from what I've seen, and our sims are not super high skilled in media production. The money for each video decreases gradually over time too as the book royalties do. As with the books, you can have many videos providing royalties at once, they just decrease in the money they earn.
