"Pressure" by Paramore from TS2 console. It was actually the song that introduced me to the band as I immediately had to find the real version after hearing it in game.

Who I am by kari Kimmel from sims 4 and a r&b (i think) song called gimme go from sims 3. i was most upset that I couldn’t buy the English versions like I have done with other songs and then discovered some songs are made in simlish just for the game.
Weekender, Hotter than Sin and Funky Sims on karaoke. House when DJing. And I agree with whoever says electronica is the best radio station.
When playing the game, I try to have my sims turn on the radio station I think they would like based on their personality, so I listen to them all at some point. And they pick their karoke song based on what mood they are in, or sometimes if they are trying to impress another sim. Most of my favourite sims become level 10 singers eventually because I love that karaoke station so much. I find some excuse to make it in character.
Who else turned the lounge in Mt Komorebi into a karaoke bar with a quick switch of what's on the stage? Had to be done.

Yep, i was looking for the original english version of a simlish song but found out it was a smilish song to begin with. Really cool.
I'm not really all that fond of much of the in-game music. I am fond of the fact that I can (and do) have custom music folders. If we could have a "Wall of Sound" kind of radio station, I'd love to hear stuff like Dead Format by Blanck Mass on it, but I'm fairly doubtful that'll ever happen. Oh well, at least I have it in my Electronica, Spooky, and Strange Tunes folders, plus other custom music that I like. The only reason I chose that one as an example is because it was playing on the Electronica station in-game just now, lol.
FYI: Just because you can see my signature, don't assume that I can see yours.
Because I can't; I keep all sigs turned off.
Another vote for "Mora Mora." It happened to come on the radio after my 1st gen matriarch died, and that's when I realized the depth of immersion that The Sims 4 had brought to the franchise.
Her descendants live in the city now, with typical, keystone-kops Sim lives; but when that song comes on the radio, we get to pause for a few minutes to reflect on how they're so much more relatable in their circumstances.
So many songs I like from all the games. But if I have to pick some...
Smeel (Smile) by Lilly Allen, Last Frooby Noob (Last Friday Night) by Katy Perry, We Bah Yoo (We Are Young) by Fun, Ga Ra Ta Da (Get It Started before the title changed) by the Black Eyed Peas, Pockaful a Simshee (Pocket Full of Sunshine) by Natasha Bedingfield.
What s great idea for a thread OP - Overall, there are too many songs to name, but in general, in the Sims 4, my Sims listen most often to Alternative, Latin/Latin pop and Americana.
Personally I love the christmas songs, so have to go for this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LC6F8wnYKkg which was undoubtedly derived from the Oh Tanenbaum german version of Oh Christmas tree. In game though I only ever tend to play the romance channel.
I get so emotional and nostalgic any time I hear that first one, that soundtrack was so memorable and it's one of the best games in the franchise in my opinion. I'd post more examples from that game but they really are all so good. I loved the Pop and Techno stations. Thanks for reminding me of these amazing songs, off to download them.
can someone please tell me, how to tell which song is playing?
I'm not sure if there is a way to tell what is playing when you are playing the game, but you can look in the game menu, in the music tab and see the songs.
I actually have music off in game and listen to an iTunes playlist playing music from the entire franchise. Then iTunes tells me what song is playing as each starts.

My favorite simlish song was from The Sims 3 Generations. I don't know why I like it so much, but I do.

Country Girl (Shake It) by Luke Bryan. Especially when he sings "herpy derp". I crack up every time.
