Sooo I've finally stopped forgetting my hollow and started filling it up
and also see what everyone else has been doing with their forgotten hollow!
I really want to see what everyone has in their version
do send pics of builds and families and all that takes place in forgotten hollow!
(i guess one way to procrastinate my newcrest project lmao really why am I like this)

I really wanted all the buildings to match to create feeling that one family built it all at once
I added 2 apartment buildings and I made new mansions for goths and vlad to live in
the big lot where vlad used to live is now habited by my own legacy family so i had to move him out
Straud Mansion
but I added some stuff outside to make it more like vladdys house
and inside it is mostly black, white and grey to show off vlads fabulous sense of style
in living room I made room for his pipe organ and some nice bookshelves and fireplace, nothing big.
I also made sure to include that dude who was on his wall in old mansion, cause well... perhaps there is reason for that.
in dining room i wanted to then add picture of the lady pictured with that sim so they're both included
the frame color triggers me a bit but well, will do with what i have...
I also gave vlad chess table cause i felt like he would like one
for kitchen and bathroom I just went with small little cubes cause as vampire
he probably doesn't use those rooms often
(yes some webs were added cause his old kitchen had webs all over)
upstairs I gave him 2 bedrooms which well he isn't likely to use either but I thought it would be useful
I made them quite identical but in light vs dark kind of theme
in the middle i had odd space and i didn't really feel like making another toilet
so i added cute nursery cause we know vlad is best baby daddy
and for tower and the 2 little buildings on the side I added them coffins
vlads is in the tower only accessible through some type of transportalate or move as mist or bat or whatever
I could have added ladder but meh i think vlad would prefer to not have others access his bedroom uninvited
other 2 i added these people again cause in my mind they probably used to live here until vlad stole their property
additional layout pics cause i totally forgot the upstairs hallway room with just piano, easel, violin
(didn't know what to put there and i remembered judith wards ridiculous house)
and spoopy house painting aand yes he has some balconies if i ever think of stuff to put there
oh wait i did take screen
he was thinking of painting his statue self
which btw can be viewed from almost every room
Goth Mansion
(cause thats the reason i don't like it)
but I was very hyped to use these windows for once though
(always ignore them cause of the inside part)
back view is little sad but i gave them cute garden thingy with game table and bar there
alexander also got cute attic ''tree house'' cause idk that side of house was looking very grim
going inside we are first greeted by this painting I think they had it in their old house in living room
but it was tiny and naw if painting can be big it will be big
from there you enter living room (which i realize my screen shot is opposite direction of walking in oh well)
then there is dining room for bellas fancy parties
(door is to outdoors where bar is)
due to the trees going in hiding when you get close you also get fun views from many rooms to that fabulous grave
(yes very pleased with that detail)
kitchen and bathroom again not very big but i think they are enough
especially after i realized absolutely no one in this house knows how to cook
and they had to get pizza to not die while i was screenshotting
extra shot of bella and mortimer playing chess cause it was cute
(you can see chess tables in the center of town from there and i think its also very neat)
aand here whole first floor because i realize my screenshots were very confusing and you'll probably get better idea
now for next floor, we have hallway room with piano
ladder goes up to alexanders room that is again in tower cause rip I overestimated space
but i like this small house look
Cassandra got neat little purpley room
Bella and Mortimer got red bedroom
its bit... meh but will do for now, also that rug is supposed to be pretend bear rug cause we don't have one
from there you get to office/library room

(there is pillars hiding that weird wallpaper change but game be mean hiding them)
aaand second floor in full
then all that is left is alexanders small small room
and the play attic that is very hard to get screens of but has some additional fun kids items
you can get there from alexanders room
or from outside climbing ladder
so yes it is much smaller but i find it more fun to play in smaller houses like this

but in original attempt i felt bit bad for morgyn so i redid it so he has bigger fancier room
caleb and lilith got themselves coffin rooms but rest of it is just open space for anything i might need
true true, but I considered the fact that i could only have 2-3 sims more in household
and the fact that the most lit party is right beneath this apartment which is why i brought them in...
though they might end up being snacked on... oh well whoever they inherited this place from really didn't think it thru
i didn't do much in terms of personality in first floor but i gave them their own color schemes
2nd floor is the fun zone most obviously
and despite having most of this in basement too it just gives them their own private area to practice
3rd floor again... some space to put whatever
but i mean you go tell Olive she can't live next to death pit and you might find yourself in one
layout for first floor returns in grim style
I also decided she is crafty for idk what reason
kitchen is naturally where the death happens...
for second floor she has cute place to craft some grims
and there is room for Ophelia and nervous subject who will be born and will be taken away and then maybe come back idk
3rd floor she has place to store pufferfish for... reasons
bedroom to seduce grim
and place to communicate with all the dead people
oh and also i created and killed ophelias parents for the front yard
so i could make olive and ophelia actual relatives
aaand yes i aged her down to not kill her in efforts to get nervous subject
but with spoopy death pit level i added craft things and some mysterious small rooms.... for who knows what
and some coffins cause well why not.

and I have very early first version of the
Big Mansion
up too that i made for last halloween
the big mansion has been since changed quite few times for more detail and more stuff
but its sort of always in progress so idk when I will get new version up
for goths new house I didn't add it in gallery yet
cause I'm still wondering if i will get additional ideas for the exterior
but spoiler alert I probably won't
it will probably be added soon and I'll put link here when i do

My Plumbob is GREEN today
Here is my current family's home, but I am still working on it, so they haven't moved in from the city yet. Their home in the city is almost identical, with some minor internal differences. I still have to finish those and do some landscaping.
This is what I was working on before I realized it was too big for any of the lots in Forgotten Hollow. I'm still working on this one as well and will release it soon on the gallery. Though it was intended for Forgotten Hollow, it may look good in Windenburg also. All four stories are accessible, including the attic and rooftop.

@ashcrash19 love how you have mixed the colors I often end up avoiding bold swatches cause idk how to use them but this is so pretty

This remainded me that i haven't played in FH for a long time...
idk I quite like how it is actually cause it just feels more immersive in like "everyone is my puppet" way
but i do feel like the fake apartments made it feel bit less weird to have all the walkbys despite it just being 5 residential lots and chess tables
wish i could make those actual apartments
I mean sure i can move in 8 or so sims but they probably won't stay in their own areas and be pain to play all at once but p_p

I don't have this pack. What's the story with the apartment buildings? Are they apartment buildings like in San Myshuno or Evergreen Harbor that contain a couple apartments each?
Get some room mates instead. You can have one playable sim and 7 room mates.
I also love Forgotten hollow but it's just so small-)

My Forgotten Hollow looks like this at the mo..
After Paranormal came out I added a cemetery nightclub and CC fog (it's not easy to see in the pic-) Sims love it and i like it because a lot of sims visit for my vamps to feed on
10 minutes to lockdown
Earlier when Realm of Magic came out I always like a vamp and a witch/fairy combo household together so added a vamp build with magic aesthetics to accommodate that combo..
I also love Glimmerbrook but again it's so small. I would love a cross mix of both those worlds making a much larger world.
None of these are my builds as I am so bad at creating lots I have to rely on our wonderful S4 creators for that

Your builds are lovely. I am also using a 64x64 build called Supernatural castle created by @AIRIS6962 as I wanted roommate Supernatural sims and plenty of room for them so they will be living in WB instead.

I also love moonlight falls in S3 and often add that worlds weather mod to custom worlds I am playing for that beautiful natural spooky glow and fog
oh forgotten hollow doesn't have actual apartments
i just made buildings that look like apartments cause i wanted to make it seem bit more populated in there so it would explain all the walkbys
and i figured that if i wanted to make one lot for multiple occult families that would seem more reasonable
I'm thinking of having the building split in 3 or 4 parts inside depending on households i want to fit in
ive yet to do much of the insides
but one of these 2 buildings will have vatores and ive moved morgyn with them because well I've planned for morgyn and caleb to get together
aaand maybe some more spoopy or occulty sims and snacks for the vampires shall live in those apartments
as far as story goes however those apartments like whole town were built by my legacy family alongside goths and vlad who was very insistent on adding statue of himself in the center for who knows what reason

I am liking your ideas for the apartment type lots..are those lots on the 30x20 lots or the 30x30 ones? how many sims do you think you could fit in there comfortably?
I love morgyn but I lost him as a sage when the pack first came out and i put him in a relationship with one of my witches and try as I might I have never been able to reinstate him as a sage which is really frustrating..
Have you any pics of the inside of the apartments so I can see how much room there is in there?
don't have computer access atm (on phone) but I'll snap you grid pics tomorrow
both are on 30x30 lot but there is quite a lot of wiggle room behind the building and in front for aesthetic reasons
...in fact it would have probably fit the 30x20 if i didn't want so much space in front of the build but i just didn't want the building to be so close to road
for actual building I was really aiming to have 8 sims in building comfortably cause its the household limit unless modded
but am almost sure if one really tries there is space for more
might also add basement for secret party venue
