Thank you so much to everyone who participated in this challenge! I always love seeing how everyone can create something completely different from the same picture.

@luckyheather Ocean View is such a beautiful build! I love the color combinations both inside and out and how you even coordinated the flowers to match as well. The modern look you have designed for this house looks great! The columns and grass covered areas, as well as the glass covered deck, is wonderful. I like that you added a separate building for activities and a play area for the kids as well. Very well done!

@Lissykin Rabbit’s Field Cottage is such a lovely cottage home! I really like the design of the exterior of the home with the covered deck surrounding the house. The pillars and dark roof really give the home a nice country feel. The interior looks great as well! The blue tones you used and the country cabinets as well as furniture suit the style so well. You have taken time to add so many nice little details that make this home look lived in and loved. Nicely done!

@xXQueenBeeXx Willow Pond Way is such a nice cozy looking cottage that is perfect for the country. I love the landscaping details that you have added to the home and the vine covered deck is beautiful! The inside of the home is so well done! The colors work very nicely together and I love the design of the kitchen and the changes you made with the bathroom work very well with the house. You did a great job!

@Clousinators Blue and Modern is a beautiful home! The contrast between the blue and white in the house works so well together and the art that you used really gives the house that little bit extra. I love the sectional in the living room and the way you designed the office as well. Great job on the yard as well! I really like the private garden area. Well done!

@jordanfbrasil Modern Residence looks great! I love that you made the home with a two-story living area, it really makes the house look so grand. The windows, beams and columns, curtains, and all the little details that you have added really make this house come alive! You have done a great job of the yard on this home as well; the pool and pond look great and I like all the plants that you have added as well. Nicely done!

@Pinkusfamily Winter tea Cake Cottage is beautiful! The landscaping looks great with the grape vines and all the plants as well as the pond. I really like that you added the tractor and farming items as well. The curve of your roof looks great and the interior of your home has such a nice cottage feel. I like the dark woods that you used but I love that the kid’s bedroom is bright and fun. You have added so many nice clutter items that really make this house look like a home. Very well done!

@JojoMOMSTER Remote Work Location is a wonderful home for Kim and Jon! I love the green, white and wood combination on the exterior, as well as all the solar panels (I’m a sucker for those silly things) I was glad to see that you added the clothes line to the front of the yard 😊, I think it suits Sulani quite well. The interior of the home looks very nice! I like all the bright tropical colors and furniture that you have used and Kim’s office is perfect for online meetings. Kim and Jon look great! They look like they will fit it quite nicely in their new home in Sulani. Great job!

@Khree29 Your home for this challenge looks great! I really like the style that you chose for the home. The exterior siding looks wonderful with the roof choice as well as the columns. You have done a great job of the landscaping as well; I really like the pond. The interior of the home looks great! I like your wall covering choices and the raised living area is a nice touch. The furniture you chose suits the home well. This is a perfect home for Windenburg! Well done!

@Taoron Eco-Modern Rustic Home is a very nice looking home! I really like how you have taken different styles and combined them to create such a beautiful space. The wood exterior looks great and I like the windows and the design of the roof. The patio you added is really nice as well. The interior of the home looks very nice! The wood floors and walls give the home a very nice rich feeling to the home and I just love all the book shelves that you have added as well. Very nicely done!

@illusie Ocean Paradise is a beautiful home for Sulani! I love the covered decks and the flowers climbing up the walls. All the tropical plants in the yard look great as well. I really like the way that you designed the interior of the home! The furniture looks so nice and tropical and the stone in the bathrooms is perfect. Your photo arrangement in the living room is so well done and there is just something about the kid’s bedroom that I am in love with. Nicely done!

@msmunkie Isla Vista is a beautiful home for the challenge. I love the gazebo and curved deck that you have added and the waterfall is a very creative addition to the property as well. All the plants and landscaping items make the house blend in perfectly with it's surroundings. The interior of the home looks so nice and tropical. The way that you have designed the master bathroom is great and I really love the second floor deck access. You have done a wonderful job on this!

I'm a little late to the game (even though I finished the build a while ago). I completely forgot that I didn't post my entry!

    March Challenge

    KgxpNvJ.jpg

The challenge for March is to use this blueprint to design a Wedding Venue. I believe that this blueprint is actually a barn; but feel free to use it for a penthouse, hall, or any other design as well. Your build can be on any size lot and any style you choose. There is no budget but please do not use any custom content. Hashtag with #BB28 and #aljay2000 when you upload it to the gallery. As always, if you wish to make a household for your venue, please feel free to do that as well!

If you need a starting point, I have uploaded a shell to the gallery for you to use. This is just a guide and can be put on any size lot with any wall and foundation height.

Unfortunately life got in the way of me playing Sims for a bit but I just want to say reading through this thread always inspires me to go start building again.

    ENTRY FORM
    Challenge Number: BB28

Gallery Name & link: A Country Wedding Venue
Link to slideshow: Blueprint Builds - A Country Wedding Venue
    Additional Notes:

I chose to go with the barn design for this build. I made an outdoor wedding area as well. I play tested it by having a wedding in it and it did not turn out so well, lol! The couple was able to tie the knot, but there was some confusion for the guests it seemed, because they didn't know where to go. I definitely recommend only having one seating option on a lot. I think I will have to do a little bit of learning about weddings. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

@AlJay I love the wood and greenery combo! It's the kind of place I was looking for back when I had my real life wedding. Are the cloth draped wedding arch and decorated ceremony seating chairs in your first picture from the new Wedding pack? I really like the look of them.

I did read on the "Wedding Stories Strategies" thread that things glitch out if you have more than one wedding arch on the lot, and it looks like you used it in multiple places (if that rectangular arch with the greenery and cloth drape is a wedding arch and not just a decorative item). So maybe that was part of the problem you were having...?

Would it be alright if I did this challenge as a residential lot? It looks like it'd be fun to see it be a sort of converted barn. Plus, I haven't made a non residential lot yet and I don't think I'm ready for it LOL.
