Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to take part in this month’s challenge! You have all done such a wonderful job in creating unique homes. I love to see all the creativity out there!
@missroxor Aspirational Aspect is a beautiful home! I love the red brick exterior as well as the way that you did the landscaping. The deck off the back is a nice touch and I love the fish water feature in the pool as well. You have decorated the interior of the home so well! I love all the little clutter details and the color combinations work well together. I love that you added a piano in the hall and a teen hangout in the basement. This house looks great! Well done!
@nali272 The modern styled home looks so good! I like the simple stucco exterior of the house and especially love the house numbers (I always forget those). Your landscaping looks great and I love that you added a detached garage and a pool to the build. The interior of the home is decorated very nicely. I like your tile and carpet choices and the way you angled the island in the kitchen. This house looks perfect for a family to enjoy. Nicely done!
@abelhinha35 Casa de la alegría is such a beautiful Spanish styled home! I love all the plants and greenery that you have used throughout the home and yard. The courtyard is simply stunning! I especially like the pergola. All the little details that you have added really make this house come alive. It is great that you have added a second level to your home and I like all the skill building items and activities that you have added. Very nice!
@msmunkie 25 Bramblewood is a wonderful looking cottage! The stone exterior looks great and I love the pathway, sitting area and the bonfire spot. What a great idea to add a greenhouse to the side of the house as well (love the lights in there btw). I really like what you did with the interior of the home. The color scheme makes it seem so warm and welcoming and the kid’s bedroom is perfect! The basement family area looks like a lot of fun as well. Great job!
@Pinkusfamily Haunted November Evening is so well done! I love the decorative details on the exterior of the home along with all the overgrown plants in the yard. It suits the house so well. The interior looks great as well, the clutter details look so nice. I really like the layout of the living room and how you separated the dining room from the kitchen and living room. The way you designed the basement will be perfect for a vampire. Beautifully done!
@luckyheather Kuroshinju is a beautiful Japanese style home! I love the wraparound deck and the walkway leading to the pond and the garden. The landscaping is so nice and suits the Japanese style well. The interior is very nice! I like the minimalist style and the black and white color scheme looks great. I think it is great that you have added the second level and I really like all the little extras for the sims to enjoy. Very well done!
@GlacierSnow Old but Loved is a great looking house! You have done a great job of making it look lived in and worn out. It looks perfect without the basement and on stilts and I like the metal sheeting that you added to the walls. The interior looks great with the worn wood floors and the wallpaper with holes in it as well as the wood paneling. I like the blue tones that you used as well. Nicely done and I agree a chicken coop would go perfect with this house!
@wanderinglizzy your Coastal Cottage is beautiful! I love the idea of making your home a rental property in Sulani. It looks like a perfect place to vacation. I really like the way you designed the lush landscaping and placed the house on a stilt foundation. The interior looks great as well! The light walls with the soft colors that you chose to decorate with make this house seem so cozy and beachy. Well done!

Additional Notes: Sorry this is late! I can't seem to hand things in on time... I am in dire need of a holiday so I made a rental. It's in Sulani, but if I had Cats & Dogs I would put it in Brindleton Bay for sure. The lot type should be rental but for some reason the gallery saves it as residential.
Coastal Cottage is a lovely rental cottage home! @wanderinglizzy Very nice exterior design and it looks great on stilts! The blue colour of the exterior and the blue/white colour scheme of the interior is pretty, peaceful and restful. The white flowers are lovely! Very nice interior furnishings! The wood texture of the furniture is very nice and calming. The flowers are a pretty touch on the dining table and very nice kitchen wall pattern. Very nice curtains and bedside table lamps in the bedrooms. The design of the wallart on the tv wall is very nice!
It is a very nice home
The challenge for December is to use this blueprint to design a bakery. You do not need to have the “Get To Work” pack to participate. Your build can be on any size lot and any style you choose. There is no budget but please do not use any custom content. As an added challenge for this month, you can choose to decorate your Bakery for Winterfest and the holiday season if you wish. Hashtag with #BB26 and #aljay2000 when you upload it to the gallery. As always, if you wish to make a household to run your bakery, please feel free to do that as well!
If you need a starting point, I have uploaded a shell to the gallery for you to use. This is just a guide and can be put on any size lot with any wall and foundation height.
@rosemow@AlJay@JojoMOMSTER and @illusie Thanks for all your nice comments both here and on my slideshow thread. I had a lot of fun putting the Nov build together. It was one of my fastest builds for this challenge. I think I just really liked that floor-plan. Might use it again for some other houses.
The December challenge looks like fun. But unfortunately, since the new Neighborhood Stories feature does not appear to have a toggle to turn it completely off, I'm staying on the previous patch and won't be updating my game again until they add one, or until a modder creates a way to turn it off. So it might be a while before I can be going online and using the gallery again. But I'll still stop by here to see what everyone else is creating. I've really been enjoying this thread, because it's a lot of fun to see what different people do with the same blueprint.
@GlacierSnow feel free to build it if you like and just take pictures to share. You don't have to worry about uploading it
Thanks @Aljay I might try to do that on some of the smaller, simpler designs. I struggled enough, though, with trying to convert blueprints into sim house dimensions that I've pretty much been using your shells for most of them. The mental process of trying to convert it from scratch was just eluding me, but I love taking a prepared shell and figuring out how to decorate and use it. So I really appreciated you making those available.
Thank you @AlJay for those wonderful comments about my house, I am so pleased that you liked the 2nd level, I was going to put a gym/spa stuff up in a room but decided a bedroom would be more useful. I have just taken the new shell and its a great idea for this time of year and it will get me in a Christmas mood I do wish EA would give us some more Christmas decorations this year, I would love some outdoor decorations that light up at night, the movies we watch are always full of fantastic lawn and house decorations I love them Thanks for the new challenge.
Thanks @luckyheather and @AlJay for the fabulous comments. I really enjoyed November's shell. I love the landscaping in Kuroshinju, and I'm a sucker for a minimal (b/w) palette!
Thank you @msmunkie im glad you liked my theme for that shell, I was happy to go back to that beautiful world to build there again as its been ages since I had.
Hi @JojoMOMSTER its such a shame food is not uploading anymore it used to, as I have outdoor rooms with food still on the table, and when placed on a lot they are still there. It would be so good to bake for a bakery so there is food to sell right away, I remember when simmers would upload a room with food in the cabinets for us to use, things are always changing it seems.
Rather than bows we could do with some stockings to hang up just for decoration
Thats great @AlJay and your pictures look pretty in the flat upstairs, I am going to make 2 guys to own the Bakery I look forward to using the new menswear on them we all love new stuff!

Also, thank you @JojoMOMSTER (though you posted your compliments in the wrong thread lol that's okay since I still saw it )
