Every time I launch the game, it immediately gives me "The Sims 4 has stopped working." and I have to close out the window. This is NOT "has stopped responding" and waiting for it to become active again.
I have a pretty good computer.
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz
Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
RAM 12 GB
Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 (build 16299), 64-bit
This has only started happening recently. Not sure why. I'm not running the game with mods at this time. I've tried repairing the game as well as completely uninstalling and reinstalling. I've deleted (well, technically moved) my TS4 folder in Documents and started fresh on launch. This doesn't help either.
Can anyone help?
EDIT: So, I updated my driver as requested, and moved my documents folder to my
/ drive. If I immediately start the game after installing my driver, it runs. The moment I close it, it will no longer start up again. Restarting my computer, closing other programs, and deleting my documents folder don't fix anything. It still doesn't run unless I reinstall my driver

Which drive is Sims 4 installed on?
Try updating your nvidia graphics drivers and see if that helps.
Try turning off origin in-game and see if that helps. To do that, go,to Game Library in Origin . Right click on The Sims 4 picture. Click on “Game Properties”. Then untick the box that enables origin in-game

Your C hard drive drive is way too small to game on . You only have 5gb hard drive space left. I suggest cleaning out your C drive. You need to install the game on D drive where your larger hard drive is and moving your documents folder to D drive. See thread below

Hello
It would be best to install the sims 4 game onto the D drive also.
To change where the sims 4 game is installed , go to Application settings, and the setting will be under "Installs and Saves "
This link explains how to move your sims 4 game to another drive without needing to uninstall , download and reinstall it again.
