Making kinds of Distinctive Personas

As of recent I started a save where I am trying to do a Generational Nerd (geek/ dork) save (minus having to start on a empty lot from scratch, buy that Knight Statue, no adding Townies [only adding townies at the start for early in-town breeding; starting with just the given sims isn't always fun] and only start with one sim, a Young Adult; Started with a house I had made from scratch and two premade YAs and a self-made Teen (my nerd/ geek/ dork).
Anyway, I was thinking, as my Nerd has children and their children have children at the Teen stage I want them all to have a nerd/ geek/ dork kind of looks.
My question is, how easy would/ is it to make a distinctive persona (in your own opinion) for a sim..?
Would this be to constantly make new outfits of that distinctive personality?
Was able to find what I think/ thought was a perfect dork like everyday attire for him. Down to the perfect pants and perfect pair of shoes for a dorky look for my starting Dork/ geek/ nerd.
