I imagine all three flats being filled with some teens too, so maybe they'd have a couple, each with their own car, and a teen or two driving as well. You might be surprised just how many cars can fit on one smallish lot! But, yeah, really, just how many cars do you really need?
Enjoyed your story! I see it as the wrap-up process starting - a walk down memory lane with an official opening of the re-established community. It's nice looking forward to Saturday stories again.
And, I finished posting all my pics. Just click the link at the bottom of the page to get to the next one. The last page has links to pics of each of the flats.
Ooh, more new people. I actually wasn't expecting that and was thinking Georgie and Grandpa Geo would be the last additions. Now I'm wondering where you're going. Interesting new dynamics and, as always, an enjoyable read. Thanks for the Saturday morning treat.
@suzses Thanks for commenting! And glad you liked it too - I needed someone for the bookshop till (took a bit of fudging until the game put him there) and he was just going to be the-person-behind-the-till, but he turned out to have a personality ( I should have known that if I made someone with blue hair, they wouldn't be a nonentity, shouldn't I?). Hope you have a really nice weekend
It was so awesome to stumble across this today. Apparently, I didn't think to check yesterday. I'm glad you've found time to write a new chapter which I, of course, thoroughly enjoyed. Liking the new family and what they'll bring to the community.
@ciane Thanks for pointing this out! It looks fun, and I might give it a go as well some day - though not until I've finished Changing Seasons. I seem to be taking pictures at the rate of 2 a day, so it's slooow going!
I actually found it so compelling, I put the apoc challenge on hold to play. It very much reminds me of your most challenging starts: Everything that can be dirty is; broken plumbing; clothes all over; and, of course, the hidden "secret" as well! I often take the the rules as literal, but allow myself as much play as possible within them. Since we are allowed to replace ugly wallpaper and floors with new ones, I often pick free and cheap alternatives. And I replace plumbing with cheaper versions. If I can sell the dirty appliances and replace them with clean, cheaper versions, that just makes perfect sense to me. Those red plumbobs from the filthy environment as the sim cleans counter after counter and has to repair the sink spewing water all over the floor, I put up with; but if the father (who I chose not to control at all) decides to help clean or mop up, I might not cancel his action! I love that we can all play our own way, and that in the end, it's important to have fun. Still what's the fun if it's not a challenge, right?
I hope all is going well for everyone. I'm busy with the apoc challenge right now, but then I think I'll give the farm challenge a go.
Thanks for reminding me about this challenge. I know I got started on it once, but never finished it. Can't recall why, I think it was something life or pc related. I might have a rego at this one soon.
I forgot to add Genie families to my apoc neighbor hood. No partner options for sims. Oops.
Yes, the catch I have not gotten a second male jin for the next generation.
I'll be uploading the sim I wanted to be heir. She is a near perfect replica of her mom, and the first sim to randomly age into a look that perfectly matches her traits.
I have to have the older brother be heir, but he's having trouble reaching friend level required to release a jin from the lamp.
Meanwhile, I've been thinking that the old hut on the small island in Atira (one of Rflong7's worlds) would make a great renovacy, as would a few others on that island. So, I've been playing with that.
Summer is fast approaching here. We have some absolutely warm days and have already had a triple digit day. I love the sun, so I am looking forward to more outdoor activities now.

It's taken me a long while to have the time to finish this: so sorry for that
@ciane, as usual, you spotted where the story and the relationships were going!

The chapter after this should be the last one - though it might have to be in two parts, as there's a lot of stories to tie up!
