Not letting me place Impress-O Espresso Machine in Buy mode

When I try to place Impress-O Espresso Machine in buy mode, it says Must Be Placed On Specific Objects. It wont let me place it on the counter. Is this a bug, and if not, what do I place it on?

AFAIK you need to put it on that special bar that comes with GT. It doesn't fit on counters.

Not 100% sure though
