Has this ever happened to you...

I just downloaded a bunch of custom content and put it into my mods folder. I try to open sims to see if any of it worked and it says there is a missing file. Being on the forums for a while (and having some common sense) I took out my mods folder because I thought that might be the problem, the sims now works, but I have to go through each one of my mods to find out which is the bad one.

This link may refer to the message that you received. It can be caused by corrupt cc/mods,

When trying to work out what cc is causing the issue, try testing first the latest cc that you have installed.
