I recently installed all of my TS1 games on my laptop, but none of the sim lane houses appeared. Can somebody give me a copy of their templateuserdata folder so I can get this problem fixed? I have all expansions, so I will need the folder from an owner of the complete collection or an owner who has all eps.

@Rflong7 It didnt work. Our template folders are identical (they only contain the old town families), these houses/families might be only installed to the userdata folder I bet I can find the houses and families online if I look hard enough.

Have you checked the UserData folder? Isn't that the first neighborhood folder?
It has all the houses and character files.

Yes, but the userdata folder only had the unleashed families in there.

Sorry, its the same as mine, The only way to fix is if somebody gave me a fresh userdata folder, which is where these familes are stored.

🐸🐸🐸🐸... perhaps I could upload my (unaltered) UserData? It's basically Neighborhood 1 just as how they present you it. Might have only opened the tutorial once to see if my game still works.

Really? Crap. As it's been always super fast here. Both in terms of down- and uploading things

Never got Mediafire to work unfortunately, but I could try something like Zippyshare and or Sendspace instead? :)

Id like that too, my neigborhood 2 is missing that home, but its not as important as the missing neighborhood 1 sims.

Oh, it was the UserData that had the neighborhood. It's good to know for if it happens again.

Ha yes, it suddenly occurred to me there were UserData folders up to 8 - the amount of neighborhoods one could use, and it was worth a shot - to see if it could be of use to resurrect the Neighborhood in its full glory and apparently it does!

Threw also the downloadable Maxis households + homes installers you could download from the original TS1 website a very long time ago in the new upload as well, so it's up to you if you'd feel like importing them into your game: speedyshare[dot]com/ezEZY/UserData-N2-Original-Maxis-Families.RAR :)

Hey simmers , I hate to reopen a quiet thread but I noticed that the OP had a similar issue to the one I've found myself with. I was hoping that the files that fixed their issue would still be floating around the internet somewhere, but no luck.

Would there be any hope of a reshare of those files that originally fixed OP's issue so that I can also enjoy some long overdue time with the Newbies and Goth families of my childhood?
