In saints row IV you can only create adults, and they only have muscles you can't create the characters you want.

Im not talking about life states, im asking what game is more detailed in creating peoples faces, sort of like comparing sliders (sr4) to molding like playdoh (sims4)

In that case SR IV is good because it has a ot of face sliders but I prefer Sims 4 because some face sliders in SR are limited.

@crzy_gal_101, I couldn't say, I haven't played Saints Row IV. There is a whole lot of customization in TS4 though, it's got so many parts and pieces you can tug and mold that people have made Youtube videos showing how to find just the right spot for some of the features. You can even make feet bigger and smaller, for example...
This post will be edited by StormKeep at some point.

well, I can say that Saints Row has animated hair!!! that's what I wanted for TS4 in the first place to have! but there's heap of sliders that I wish were in TS4 and the heap of customisation in saints row, I want to be in TS4, I hope EA sees this customisation and put it in TS4, then I would and many would love TS4 more.

Sims 4 has so much more control over character face creation. If they were to try and translate the system into sliders, it would be pages and pages of sliders for sliders controlling sliders. 3d manipulation is infinitely more powerful than sliders, it really is like trying to sketch something vs sculpting it. That is on top of the dozens of facial parts you can plug in, with each manipulating differently. Each eye and chin and nose on the list is not all just the same one with different "slider" presets, it's a different model, and trying to shape one to look like another is nearly impossible. I didn't figure that out until after designing a few sims I wasn't entirely happy with.

Except that video of what looks like a large man dressed up to vaguely resemble Nicki Minaj proves nothing. It's not about what you can make the characters look like, it's about the number of potential combinations of polygons that equals customization options. You will certainly find far fewer "lifelike" recreations of real people in Sims 4 because the art style is so stylistic, however the actual number of facial configurations in this game is many magnitudes greater than what you can get in SR3/4. I believe that was your original question, which had more options/detail. TS4 hands down.

That's not fair! Other companies have better developers and actually try to make worthwhile games!
Try comparing my sims to Sims 4 :P

@06Bon06 That's not fair! Other companies have better developers and actually try to make worthwhile games! - So You're saying SR4 has a better character creator?
Try comparing my sims to Sims 4 :P - Sure TS4 wins on that; mysims was made for a younger audience and therefore has a cartoony artstyle.

I find the Sims 4 Character Creator more powerful than Saints Row 4,
You can easily sculpt and morph the face and body just by dragging your mouse, rather than relying on slider bars. I'm going to be honest that I never got used to the all names of each slider and what it affects. :p

Though I wish a way to change height of a Sim is introduced, I really want variety for my Sims.

@AnnePlays Even though I think that SR4's is more powerful, I feel it takes longer to edit using the sliders. TS4's to me is more easier to edit due to that you can edit what you want without asking yourself "What does this slider do?".
