You can have a pen pal from Bridgeport, send letters to your pen pal there, and request a postcard (which is a collectible). And you can "joke" about Sunset Valley.

I don't have a screenshot of them, but I love the references to The Office. One of the job titles in the business track is Assistant to the Manager, there's a message that pops up sometimes mentioning a jello mold and one of the items you receive for getting promoted is a S.A.L.E.S award.

'How I dumped your father' sounds rather sexual and messy don't you think? ;)
So many of the books are hilarious puns and easter eggs.
The Little Train that Couldn't
The Lord of the Swings
Where the Boardwalk Ends
A Game of Groans
A Game of Musical Chairs: A Song of hot and Cold
The Frequently Ending Story
The 50 Shades on my Windows
The Plunder Games
Lucas Dark and the Increasingly Unlikely Series of Coincidences
The Bladder Games
My personal favorite isn't an easter egg, just hilarious. 'How to Seriously Injure Someone With This Book'
Playing Sims 4 while the Sim plays Sims 3! SimCeption
That looks more like the Sims 2! genius!
its sims 1 :P
That's exactly what I mean't! Haha, other than it looks like there's the 'wants' box for the sims 2.
Maybe it's both of them mixed together!
Actually, those boxes you're thinking as the wants and fears is the Character Portraits. Back in TS1, they are there at the bottom as opposed to TS2-TS3's character portraits being on the left side of the screen.
I don't know the circumstances of HOW it happened, but a Sim attempted to perform an "unknown action" (I guess) and the icon it showed was that of the legendary llama.
Anyone else notice the Star Trek Reference when you click on the Tea Magic Personal Brewer? All the options are relatively similar, except for Earl Grey, which adds the word "hot" at the end. Exactly how Captain Picard from Star Trek Next Generation orders his tea from the replicator on the show. Earl Grey, Hot.

I love HIMYM, although the ending felt a bit rushed.
