I love the new CAS and I have been making sims like crazy but I really really cant wait to start building houses! Its the reason I love the sims 3 so much and I will never loose the love I have for that game but I am so looking forward to seeing all the new houses we can create!! I can't wait!!! I just cant wait!!

I'm hoping that building will be as easy as they say. I rarely build in TS3, but when I do, they always turn out quite ugly or weird looking.

I can't wait! I love how easy it is to modify house layouts and room sizes in Sims 4, those things are so annoying in Sims 3.

I have built extensively for sims 3 and I cannot wait to build for sims 4 too. Hope my pc will run the game okay. Bit worried about that!

I'm looking forward to the creative outlet of building! It'll be a great time filler in between my writings/drawings when I have those funks. Already have my first plans figured out, too!

I've always loved building! I still remember the first lot I uploaded to the TS1 exchange. I'm a bit torn with TS4. There are many, many things I want to try out. I'm not sure if I'll build first, play first, or just explore. I've made a lot of sims in the CAS demo, though. I think I might have to come up with some unique lots to fit their personalities.

I'm probably not going to get Sims4 straight away but when I do the things I'm looking forward to most are:

Roofs with a trim
Different height walls
Windows that move up and down
Different height foundations
Decorative touches like cornices
Different colour roofs on the same lot

Things which might not be so good:

Flat lots
All buildings on a lot have to have foundation or not (no mixing)
All building levels on the lot have to have the same height walls.

I preordered the game today.
I am curious how I will like the colour presets. In the sims3 i was getting colour/pattern crazy without any custom content, so not being able to do that in the sims4 will be a challenge for me I guess. On the other hand loading all the recolours that I made from the original sims patterns took ages.
The flat lots i dont mind that much as landscaping was the thing that i always dreaded most.
The cas demo I enjoyed and it is pretty easy to use after a little while of getting used to it.
What I am really happy about is that we will be able to upload "rooms" only too.

I really looking forward to all the creative and fun buildings that will show up in the gallery Can't wait.

i peordered the dd. i usually go physical but i had some extra money on my orgin wallet . i just wish i knew how long downloading takes because according to orgin the game will be ready at 9 pm on the 1st.

I am so excited about the new build features. Being able to adjust window heights alone has me more than ready to jump into building that first house.

I can't wait to build either! From what I've seen of the videos, building seems to be easier than in the sims 3. I'm a huge fan of Colonial style houses, so I think I'll build something along that line first ;)

I'm really looking forward to it because every house I ever made in Sims 3 was hideous. Functional, yes, but hideous. I'm really hoping to be able to change that in Sims 4. ;)

Building in Sims 3 was difficult, and when I did build it seemed there were always lumps in the floor lol. The Sims 4 looks easier and seems exciting. I can't wait to build as well!

I was never very good at building in Sims 3. I enjoy it, but I'm a bit rubbish. Much better at the decorating part. So I'm also looking forward to having an easier time with the building!

I can. The lack of open world is a big shame. Maybe EA should make Low-Spec and High-Spec versions of The Sims 4.
