hi can anyone help me please,
I am keen to Join in this challenge, but am a bit confused over the cost - do I have to build it with $35000 all in ?
I've created Henry and Eva, moved them into the lot, bulldozed the lot, ready to build and I have $20000 for the build, if I do the room challenge at 7,500 is that included in the 35000 or separate ?

The room challenge is a separate challenge, aimed at people who don't want to do the full challenge. The cost of the main challenge is 35,000 all in, ie 2,000 for the lot cost plus 33,000 for the build, furnishing, decoration, landscaping, etc = 35,000

One more question, sorry, I upload to flickr, and I've made an album for the photos, but when I click the direct link, I then have to click the slideshow icon for it to play, rather than click through, is this OK ? or is there another way ?

Blue Stone Cottage was built for 17 yr. old Henry Taylor and his baby sister Evangeline from money left to them after their parents were killed in a car accident. The new home features a wraparound porch, backyard fire pit, open floor plan living room, dining room and eat-in kitchen, a half bath, Master Bedroom with a woodworking area and En suite Master Bathroom. Plus, a pretty in pink nursery for Evangeline which includes a custom built changing table.

This would be my first entry for the BuildnShare challenges. I hope 2 make enough time available to enter more as they come along.

A comfortable cottage meeting the brief given by the client. By tightening the budget strings somewhat, it was possible to build a small basement area where Henry can work with his baby sister safe, playing out of harms way.

Henry & Eva have a new Single story spacious cottage with a good sized garden in a vibrant community. they each have a bedroom there is a family bathroom, and a separate toilet. Henry has a workroom which is accessed via his bedroom.

I am seeing some issues with some of the submissions.

1. the budget is $35,000, that includes the lot, so the maximum that your build can be in the gallery is $33,000, if it is more... then you are over budget.

2. the brief calls for 1 full bath and 1 half bath. I am seeing builds with only 1 bathroom.

This is my first entry to a buildnshare! I had a great time with this build, cottages are so much fun to build! Henry's workshop is accessible only through his bedroom so its very safe. There is a cozy living area for Henry and Evie to grow up together when they are not out in garden enjoying the countryside!

Please, can you all edit your entries to reflect this change. As @gmcrozier mentioned above, we are seeing some discrepancies with the budgets for this challenge.

@kezflake, have you adjusted your budget on this challenge? I really like your cottage, would be a shame if you don't enter it.
