@lisa17ann I also was thinking about upright container. As I think of a short wall as 3 square, a med wall as 4 and high wall as 5 I would have used 2 x short and one med to make up the 10. Or 3 x short plus enough foundation to make up last squares worth of height and then remove the floor of the foundation if that makes any sense.
I say was and would have as I'm more than likely likely having to sit this one out with all the crazy work & family stuff going on for me right now.

I'm not a judge, but I have been doing these challenges off and on since Sims 3. I would say your level is starting out.
The cost for container sounds right.
As for camera controls I posted some info a while back for Sims 3. I will find it and re post it. It is the same for Sims 4 if you have the Sims 3 camera setting on.
@folala Here is the post I did for BUILD-N-SHARE CHALLENGES in Sims 3
In live mood click on the sim icon in the bottom left corner right. Then zoom with mouse wheel all the way in as far as you can. Then to get eye level tilt the camera up till it wont tilt any more. Make sure you page up so you have all floors seen, then go into camera mood with the tab button. From here do not touch the mouse just use the W S A D Q E keys and if you come to a room that is very small just zoom out maybe max of 5 clicks max of X, any more and you start to get a fishbowl look.
Tab
Enable Camera mode
Q / E
Lower/raise camera height
Shift + A / Shift + D
Roll camera counterclockwise/clockwise

Great job on your build.
Thanks very much @countrykris1play. I couldn't understand why the camera wasn't doing what it should but I didn't have the Sims3 controls on!
I was going to wait for GTW to drop, but I took another look at the object catalogue, and I don't see anything in it that I can't live without. Besides, I kind of want to clear my plate for it.

My goal was to create something playful, modern, and unique within what seemed to me at first, almost an impossible budget! In order to conserve on money, I focused on making maximum use of roofing for landscaping and structural elements. I used low cost objects but tried to give them a more expensive looking finish. I kept decor minimal but present and utilized debug objects since they transfer now. I was so pleased to be able to include my sim's artwork to personalize the space. The result is a 2 bedroom, 1-1/2 bath residence with a pool that costs $31,228. I hope Ms. Bloodclaw will find it to be an acceptable and inspiring prototype for the future!

P.S. I was so inspired by this challenge that I actually worked on two separate configurations simultaneously until I made my decision as to which would be my official entry. I went ahead and finished the second build too, dropping the budget constraints on it (muahaha). I consider it my unofficial second entry. If you'd like to see it, click >>here<<, and I set up a slideshow for it >>here<<.
* There is a new MOO bug introduced in the 3/26/15 patch. It's actually better to place lots with it turned off now. We are testing and trying to get to the bottom of it in our Testing MOO thread.
I just got to do my favorite part of the challenge, which is when I look at everyone else's builds at the end, and I have to say, what a great set of builds there are for this challenge! So much diversity and lots of cleverness to work within that budget. I think everyone really brought their best to the table for it, and the judges are going to have a difficult time with this decision!
I am completely in awe of what you guys have managed to come up with for this challenge. I am sure that the rest of the team will join me in being a little daunted by the prospect of actually judging them.

It will certainly be a challenge, but a very enjoyable one! All the entries are fabulous, very unique and individual with huge amounts of creativity and imagination shown
unfortunately, my ideas don't work out in the 25k limit. I was going to create 4 separate living units, but while looking at my budget it had to be modified to a shared outside kitchen & 2 shared bathrooms. it still goes over budget without decoration/recreation. i have my shell saved so i can make a full furnished build with it and when i make that it will be posted on my page. you all have great builds
so now i get ready for the next challenge and buy the new pack in the coming days
