    World name changed!

    I haven't seen this been put up anywhere in the ITF forum but the world name has been changed from Arcadia Landing to Oasis Landing.

    Confirmed by @iPodZeke1 on Twitter.

      I wonder if it was because there's a popular custom world named Arcadia. :mrgreen: Like the new name, anyways! Thanks for sharing!

      I saw people say that apparently all countries that they print from have to fully agree on name.

      I did like the old name more but it's no biggie 8)

      Aww, Arcadia Landing was good I thought. Oasis we already sort of got from the last LB, I don't think it needed to be named Oasis to get the point across. Either way it's a small point and Oasis isn't horrible. :D

      I saw that when I was reading the descriptions of the Dystopia, Normal future and Utopia. I liked Arcadia Landing more, but I like this one too. :D

      But it isn't really an Oasis, yes it is kind of salvation in the midst of a "desert" but normally Oasis's are characterized by being natural and usually very green with little to no tampering by humanity :?

      It wasn't just confirmed by Zeke it was in the broadcast. I thought King had got confused but then he said it again, then I thought I'd just imagined it being Arcadia in the first place.

      The new name is super lame :x Arcadia Landing was so much better! Plus its hardly an "oasis" if you go into a dystopian future...so umm...yeah. this stinks! :thumbdown:

      He is a youtube lets player who is actually at Gamescom, invited by EA along with many others and he has played ITF.

      King also mentioned it on the LB today.

      There were 3 types of future worlds that King mentioned in the replay.
