I'm putting this up early because Next Month we have the 9th Anniversary Of The Sims 4 Update coming out.

Very optimistic from me but a Huge update with only bug fixes (especially the plant bug one)

2022 : Fixes
2021 : Spa Day refresh update + 1,200 color swatches for 149 assets
2020 : Fixes
2019 : Configurable staircase + Muslim content
2018 : No update for PC/Mac
2017 : CAS & B/B items
2016 : Day of the Dead event
2015 : Jealous trait
We also got a free hottub for one of them.
I think it was for the franchise anniversary in February.
But you could be right about something special because the roadmap told 1 EP, 2 kits and "more"

I would add; A new launching system as the EA App is just not working. You can’t have a system where some players cannot access their games. 😡
I wish we could get some townie toggles like turning off the randomized townies and choosing our own npc sims it would improve game so much

This sounds like a follower who's a ride or die for The Grim Reaper. Maybe it's a personality trait that have sims idolizing The Grim Reaper. What if there's a personality trait to also disbelieve in The Grim Reaper too. Could it be an update for our sims to have a belief system. The 9th anniversary and number 9 does represent the God number. Just saying.

there already was a survey long ago with a grim career included
and they showed grim a lot in this years posts and 'live' streams

Maybe that's something they will release for Halloween if it is indeed themed around Grim. Wonder if it will tie in with the Paranormal pack.

for someone who has aging turned off and toggles death false, I'm not really a big grim fan, nor am I excited about this update, however I have wanted proper cemeteries and mausoleums, outside of the manageable lots we have. It would be interesting to proper funerals, but as someone who uses sims to escape, and has lost recently since the pandemic, I can't say I'm excited for this, however I think that it will be because Sims team is hinting about this for quite sometime.
Maybe it's for a Grim Reaper GP this time. Previously SimGuruNinja worked on Werewolves GP
Maybe the Grim post on twitter was just the (childish) reaction on the Paralives video about Autonomy and Death on youtube?

Some of the attractions could be things like scent. We could have a hobby or job making perfumes ( that could be used for attraction and romantic gifts. This would be a good place to bring in the glass blowing hobby/money maker too. As we could blow glass necklaces, bracelets, and rings, as well as a variety of objects to place around the house. Sims could be attracted to jewelry types as well. As well as making the candy and glass blown objects to sell and give as gifts, we could also have little stands that sell it ( like the flower stand in wedding stories ), and we could also buy it from plopsy. That way our sims could buy these items and not be forced to make them to give them to someone, yet they could still be hobbies. Another attraction could be hair color, I’m sure there are a lot of other attractions that could be thought of too.
In a Romance pack they could give us some special romantic sights, in a new world, with some special romantic lot types, and we could also use the sights for other vacations or for living there as well They could give us a lot of New Romantic interactions, like a bear rug with romantic interactions, a picnic blanket with romantic interactions, new interactions while dining out, while dancing, while looking at the stars. They could give us spooning and other romantic interactions in bed. More romantic interactions on sofa’s, while watching movies, and do we have a romance channel? Romantic interactions in pools too. Teens could be given some special romance interactions too.
There are just so many things they can do with an attraction system and a romance pack. We could have blind dates, online dates, double dates, special different types of dates….. there are just a lot of things they could do with it.
Oh and I forgot to mention, what a great pack for hotels and Casino’s!!
Our sims can already kiss in pools but other interactions like an underwater kiss would be cool.
