Regarding Texture Painting

Hi folks.

Is it normal for texture paint to move when placing a lot? I have one house on a 30x20 lot and the moment I place a copy of it on another 30x20 lot all of the ground textures I painted seem to shift. So all the dark areas of soil under plants, trees etc. all of them are off slightly, sometimes quite severely.

If I thought it was a bug I'd report it but I'm just curious if its some percularity of the build system I've misunderstood. It would make sense to me if the lots were different sizes but not when they're the same. I'm also wondering if its potentially messing up any lots I upload to the gallery.

Okay I think I've figured it out. Started a new save and placed my gallery lots and most seem fine. So what I believe happened is since I've built and bulldozed so many lots on my previous save that I think its corrupted the texture paint placement and the game is somehow reading old texture info or the save has just got very buggy. It seems only a couple of lots have been affected anyway.
