I just saw something on Twitch just in case stuff packs are not totally or what. So as y'all can see, a simmer say something about what the 19th stuff pack will be for The Sims 4, see

Well I don't really read into this type of hints cause there ain't source mentioned or anything

but if there ends up being ikea stuff pack i do not think that will ever make it on my buy list

which i do not mind actually
given this and next year I'm gonna be running out of simming funds anyway trying to upgrade my computer to run the freaking game

iirc kits are tagged as stuff packs in the game files, and an Ikea pack would most definitely be a kit unless after 8 years they decided to change how stuff packs work in this game. Not that I believe this rumor anyway, it surely isn't spreading like fire if no one else on twitter is talking about it lol not to mention that the supposed release date is september and that is before the current season of DLC ends

Also Ikea better stay away from this game. How much more basic furniture do we need?

I doubt it but if it’s a stuff pack I hope our sims can go shopping in IKEA.

I hope that- as soon as our Sims arrive at the fully customizable IKEA store- they’ll be able to throw their toddlers into the Smäland ball pit so they don’t have to worry about those when they go about wandering around the showroom or collect their flat pack furniture of choice and order Swedish meatballs and drink dryck fläder at the IKEA restaurant.
I hope that as soon as our family of sims is back home (don’t forget to pick up the toddler from the Smäland ball pit, I know you don’t want to but be kind) they’ll be able to assemble the furniture they bought and that there’s an option to call IKEA and complain in case there’s a few screws missing.
It’d be like Batuu, but IKEA stuffpack style. It’d be hilarious.

EDIT: Death by Flat Pack Furniture comes to mind.

If there is an in game IKEA store my Sim would need to arrive back home with five or six clutter items that she didn't know she needed until visiting the store.

And she would have to spend an hour on Simtube to find out how to fix that one shelf she put in backwards on the Billy bookshelf(low handiness skill I quess) and then travel to the in game paint store to get the exact shade of paint to cover it up.

also death by furniture falling down be nice

or getting stuck in ikea for the night cause your sims can't find their way out in time

An Ikea SP would be odd since we already have Ikea-like furniture that came with DHD. I wouldn't mind having the "Alex" desk in the game though.

Don't give EA ideas - they'll turn the Ikea theme into a game pack and make it all about assembling furniture.

sorry to say this but sound to me like a recycled sims2 pack but with sims4 coding so as a player i have my doubts here and will wait and see till they relly tell what the next sp is

Am I missing the actual evidence for this? Why would they do an Ikea stuff pack when they can sell people reskins with no game play in a kit I seriously doubt any stuff pack is coming those have gameplay and they have moved on from that over a year ago.

Not until the next and last roadmap of 2022 for The Sims 4, OK? A stuff pack should have build/buy objects and CAS outfits, hairs, and accessories all at the same dang time!

Shops with restaurants and handymen you can call to come fix or upgrade your furniture. Also, some unique furniture that is not deadly like fold out sofa beds or armchair beds. Also, some shelves cats can jump and climb on.

Well, I imagine in an IKEA pack, the attraction would be the furniture, not the gameplay. But there is potential to add interesting furniture, new dishes like Swedish meatballs, almond tart and oatmeal cookies, lingonberry jam, harvestable lingonberries and maybe some other Swedish stuff that are interesting like the maypole someone was talking about. They could also make kitchen cabinets and counters as separate storage space for stuff so they are not just decorative.
They could set Abba's Money money song as the theme song and add a disco ball too.
