    i cant follow my sim to high school

    what am i doing wrong appently theres a button to follow them but i cant find it anywhere its very frustrating

      First let me ask the obvious question: did you buy and install the High School Years pack? With all of the base game updates this last patch gave us it's easy to forget that the actual school system is the main part of the actual expansion.

      I think they added a new feature where with active school and careers, in the job pie menu it gives you the option on whether or not to receive follow pop ups. Make sure its turned on and you should receive a notification to follow them to school.

      Once it's time for school, the panel should come up. You have two choices. A) Select the Sim(s) you wish to follow. Or B) send all Teens alone. If it's not coming up around 8AM in game, do you use mods? If you do remove your Mods folder and then delete the localthumbcache.package and turn your game back on to see if it comes up.

      Other than that I have no clue what's going on in your game. You could also try a game repair.

      @SimmerSophie96 I never related that to this problem. I wondered what kind of notifications were meant. But I left it on, even so. :open_mouth:

      ok i disabled mods and script mods and it came up so i will have to keep looking for the mod responsible arghhhh

      Do you use mc command mod? And are you sure your teen is enrolled in high school?

      I encountered that my teen wasn’t enrolled in high school, since this mod gives you the option for teens to quit high school. As soon as I changed this setting the option to follow to school appears in the job panel. Maybe a whole other problem but thought that I should put it out there. Hope you find a solution.

      I cant even follow my sims at high school and I have the expansion pack. The choices doesn't come up at all. I've been having this problem since yesterday. I repaired the game and I do use some mods as well.

      More than likely a mod. You'll have to go the 50/50 method to find it. Found a very random small mod that was causing trendi and social bunny not to show up, which ended up being LittleMsSam eleavator fix for pets and toddlers weirdly enough.

      Ill try and found the mod and delete it and see if it will work

      I deleted the mods that I had and put them back in and it worked

      i solved it i dont know if im allowed to mention this but it was aww mega pregnancy mod if i remove it i can follow her if its in i cant but i also deleted many other mods too edit i just tested again its defintly the mega mod

      I had this mod called littlemssam dating mod and that's why I couldn't follow my sim around the highschool

      i don't have either of those installed; i suppose i'll have to just remove the script mods and figure out which it is by process of elimination :/ this is gonna be fun

      I don't know if anyone solved this yet, but for me it was my preteen mod that messed up my game. i took it out and it instantly fixed it.

      Idk if this would be helpful or not but I had the same issues & I don’t have the preteen mod so I decided to do the 50/50 method and it was a file called “MD_BetterSims_Main” that was conflicting with my high school pack.

      i just figured it out, it's the go to school mod!
