  • Looking through my decades challenge family tree, I have a habit of making my sims have exactly 3 kids and then capping it there. I would love some variety in the family structure, but more than 3 kids is wayyyyy too much for my attention span, and less than three doesn't give me enough insight into genetic mixups. Here's…
  • I spotted this lady outside my sims' house today: The coat is quite a statement in itself, but she just had to go all out with the accessories. Leave some style for the rest of us, I'm begging you.
  • I'm not dying for cars, but in ts2 I loved how your sim would be picked up for work in a car that reflected their position. Beginner lever / low paying jobs would be reflected with a junky old sedan. I think some of the higher level military jobs picked your sim up in a helicopter. When your family went on vacation, they…
  • I can understand why they're hesitant/don't want to add burglars back into the game. I'm at home alone most of the time and I live in a rural area where there would be nowhere to run if we had an intruder, so even just the thought of having someone trespass with malicious intent makes me nauseous. I can't even imagine the…
  • The only butler I've played was amazing! His name was Ace, and he did everything I could ever ask. He watered the plants, cooked a meal each day, put the kids to bed, helped them with their homework, etc etc. I made him a cozy corner of the house with a desk, books, chess table, and his own bathroom fit with a shower/tub.…
  • I'm so glad someone caught that lmao!!.... I actually downloaded Lorilie from the gallery and she was originally in a household of grease characters :p so technically she is Betty Rizzo!! I just tweaked her a little so she wasn't a carbon copy ;)
  • Oh my bad!! Sorry about that, thanks for the help <3
  • Isn't it cool? I just checked and it's actually from dine out ;)
  • I agree! Nancy lives next to Arden, too, so she's got that girl-next-door thing going for her too. Thanks!
  • Thanks for all this! None of the presets I checked (mouth, nose, eyes) match either of his parents'. I never thought that removing the downloaded presets could have this effect. I haven't done much research into how the game does genetics, but it seems to me that he's just too far off. I compared him as a female, too, with…
  • If you use MCCC there's a setting to remove that moodlet. It's somewhere under cheats>cheat sim info(or something like that)>moodlet/buffs That's what I usually do when the whole family is sad over some extended relative that they never met.
  • thanks so much! that's kinda crazy cause fiona's my name :D
  • I found this picture thru a google search and I'm really interested in using this sim's hair and clothes but the poster didn't say anything about where any of it comes from :o I did a reverse image search and everything but nothing comes up. Help?
  • I'm doing the decades challenge so most of my cc is period appropriate furniture and clothes. Also of course mccc for story progression, the no mosaic mod and a couple others for stuff like no autonomous phone use and adding funerals as an event. Mostly just stuff to add realism and immersion for the way I play. Before I…
  • The firstborn son (and heir) of the starting couple in my decades challenge was the most adorable born in game sim I've had to date, I think. His name was Arjen (pronounced Ar-yen [tbh I just realized that is dangerously close to the word 'aryan'... totally unintentional. its a dutch form of Adrian]) and he's long dead by…
  • I did this once when my legacy family had twins. I aged them up in cas when they became toddlers to see what they would look like- it turns out that they were identical twins and had the exact features of their dad. I wasn't having that, so I played with genetics until I found a sim that looked like a balanced mix of the…
  • -in a dream last night :p I have never seen the sky before
  • Milky Chance
  • I have MCCC and I'm sometimes overwhelmed by how many babies it causes. I know I can tweak those settings to make it less crazy, but I like to see all the genetics bounce around. Some sims have abhorrent genetics though. Miko Ojo is the worst imo..... That tiny mouth is a dominant gene for sure. It seems like those uh...…
  • the "kiss on cheek" animation is the first that comes to mind for me. it's so sweet!!
  • LLLLLLLLouella
  • I often move one of the grandparents in to help with the toddlers, especially if both parents have jobs or if it's a single parent. teens help a lot, too. Try to max out all of their needs before putting them to bed so they'll stay in bed longer and not wake up starving or something. That way it gives your caretaking sims…
  • I loved it in ts2!!!! I never got to play the sims 3 version, but it seems awesome from what I've seen. I think it would just add more depth to the young adult life stage
  • No way! He got the same chance card in my save (or at least one with the same outcome). I thought it was perfectly fitting. He’s worked so hard for this, he deserves a break!
  • Yay!! Go Johnny :) I think him finding a supportive significant other fits well in his story- that might be something I do later on. I feel like he would be the kinda guy to stay single until he found the perfect soulmate who stuck with him through everything. Currently he's rooming with one of my sims who's trying to make…
  • I like to make a big deal about going through the worlds and choosing a perfect partner for my sim, then planning their future for them before they've even met. That tends to make me really attached to my sims' spouses and their relationships, and it hurts me to break them up. I think I divorced a couple once in 7…
  • @Kathesaur that picture is perfect :D Huh, I've never thought about it that way! It totally makes sense, but I've always just assumed he was her son. It almost fits him more being the estranged, dreamer uncle.
