My dad told me about a new game that was coming out, and he said he thought I'd like it. Except I thought he said "Sins," so I balked because I didn't think I'd like a game where you could die, which he confirmed that you could. There was some sort of building demo out that he let me play, and that was it: I was in love.…
My Sim didn't really start making much money until she got higher up in the Actor career, so I supplemented it with playing guitar and singing for tips (which also helped to raise her fame), as well as becoming a YouTuber (which, again, raised her fame). She's currently at level 9 of the Actor career and while not rich,…
My Sim doubles as an actress and a YouTuber and she's making over 1k a day in royalties just from YouTubing. I imagine if she focused 100% of her energy on it, she'd be making a lot more, but I just do it for the fame boosts.
I actually don't mind that it's hard to earn. My only complaint in regards to that is that it's super easy to advance in the Actor career, so you can easily be on the "Superstar" level while only being a "Rising Star."
I'm really liking it, which surprised me a bit. I watched a couple installments of James' (The Sims Supply) Let's Play to get a feel for what gameplay would be like, and that convinced me to go ahead and buy it. I played for hours and hours, then as soon as I got up the next day, played it some more! I was surprised, as I…
I really love the sound of footsteps. I'll follow a Sim around for ages, just listening. That, and the sound of rain/thunder, and all the little ambient sounds of them going about their day.
I usually have my Sims Woohoo if their social and fun are low. I was annoyed when my Sim's wife died and I had to raise her social by - gasp - actually talking to people, but then I saw she could Woohoo with her wife's ghost, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
No way. We as a community have been telling EA that what they've released so far for TS4 is not enough, and we're just now finally getting some substantial content, which has been fed to us in baby-sized spoonfuls over the course of several years. If they suddenly announced that they were dropping TS4 in pursuit of TS5,…
My Sims had a Dalmatian named Rolly (pronounced Role-ee), named after my favorite character from 101 Dalmatians, and a black, cross-eyed cat named Loki!
I also speak French. :) And to answer the second question, I don't have any favorite pairings in The Sims, but I'm immensely obsessed with Loki/Scarlet Witch or Loki/Darcy, just because. Do you hate any music genres?
If I'm building a house or something that'll take more than a few minutes, I'll often turn off the sound and listen to my own music. But when I'm playing the game, I always have the sound on - I love listening to the little, ambient noises like footsteps, cooking, etc., especially now with Seasons. Last night, my two Sims…
I have free will turned off, so most of what my Sims do is done by guests or is from before I turned free will off. A parent putting a toddler into the high chair and then immediately taking it out. Rinse and repeat until everyone dies. Guests constantly getting glasses of water and leaving the cups all over. Guests…
