This is existing game. I pulled the patch down this morning ad started playing and tried multiple times to do those missions. Should I do a test and start a new game to see if it still fails?

The patch worked fine for me and I can play the game, but I can no longer do some of the celebrity or samolean quests that popup or show in town. I can't do the eating contests or the one to promote restaraunt. I see both of the missions in city view I can travel to them but when clicking on the location, the interactions…

NPC sims are wierd, I had one ask me on a date, then i show up and he had brought his baby with him, so he walks up sets it on the ground and forgets it for 2 hours all the while it is crying cause it is hungry, and crying baby makes my sim agitated.

I understand about memory usage in a 32 bit environment, sims3 will run in virtual 32 bit mode in my windows 7 64 bit. well the huge spike of memory usage seems to only happen when loading into a world, traveling to egypt,china or france and when I save a copy of a household, when any of those happen I see memory usage spike up as high as 7.8gb out of 8. I don't see your video card on the supported list, and seasons may put it over the edge.
