I had a similar experience with a previous laptop (HP) but after a while I started seeing permanent effects it had on the graphics card. So I'm still hoping for a more educated answer. Someone who knows, yes, it won't hurt your graphics card at all, or no, it may have negative effects. I want this MacBook to last forever!…
Thank you for your comment! At this point I have evicted the household and am in the process of moving them back in. The option to move into a furnished apartment is grayed out. Hovering over, it says that the option is not available.
Repairing my game and lowering some settings has seemed to have resolved my issue! Hopefully it won't arise again! I'm actually really into playing in windowed view now instead of fullscreen. You can see so much more, though everything is a bit smaller.
When I got this laptop I struggled to find out whether or not is was compatible with the game. The laptop was a gift, I can't afford to buy my own. My boyfriend may be buying a gaming desktop in the future. I'll move the game over to the desktop if he does. In the mean time I'll try to make it as friendly towards my laptop…
Also, some information about my computer that may be helpful: Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 15063) (15063.rs2_release.170317-1834) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: Acer System Model: Aspire R5-571T BIOS: V1.06 Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz (4…
Sweet! Thanks for all the feedback, guys! So my next question is: what is your next must-have now that toddlers are here? I'm really hoping for pets to be on their way soon and if not pets, then seasons!
I haven't yet but soon. I just got a new laptop and decided that when I downloaded sims to it, that I wouldn't transfer my old saves so I'm starting from the beginning. I also demolished most of the houses and rebuilt the towns with homes and households in the Gallery. So I thought I would give myself some time to settle…
My favorite real life city is Charleston, SC. It's my hometown. :) The "city" part is rather small in comparison to others but it has so much character. Charleston is really booming right now. Lots of people are looking to move there and things are getting a little packed but that's just more opportunity for the city to…
Alright! I'm half way through the process. I've removed the sims 4 folder and started the game. Then opened a household. I was able to edit the teen but not the child. Can you even detail edit children? Edit: No such luck. :( I will try deleting the localthumbcache file and repairing the game. Edit: the repair did not…
:D Totally didn't mean that but I'll do it! So what does that do? Sorry I'm learning as I go! Besides deleting this localthumbcache file are there other steps to repairing the game?
If I click the sim it pulls up the wardrobe and the meters for adjusting weight and muscle. I hope I followed your directions correctly. I wasn't supposed to move my most recent save, right? Just copy it to the desktop? I moved the mod folder to my desktop too. first household I tested: problem wasn't solved. Second…
I didn't see this in time. :( I removed all cc and mods using the 50/50 method put I still cant detail edit young sims. here's the screenshot with show UI boxed check anyway.
Ah! yea some of the cc that were giving me the script issue were lights. my favorite lights. :'( I'll try the 50/50 method and get back to you. It will probably be a while though with all my cc! XD
I don't have More Columns or any Cas mods. Only Cas cc. Well I'm glad it's nothing to do with the MCCC. Do you suppose if I deleted majority of my CC it might help? I think it's finally time... ^_^'
I have a mosaic removing mod but that should be the only other mod I have other than MCCC. As for cc, I have quite a lot. Probably too much. I've been trying to cut back and remove some cc. cc has never really caused me any issues. Only thing memorable that has happened is after updating my game I've had some cc items…
I do have aging turned off and I most recently updated yesterday afternoon. I have cas.fulleditmode enabled. I loaded a lot and went back out to Manage Households and tried editing from there but it didn't change. Here's what I see when I click a sim and choose the MCC option. ^^^ I've tested using cas.fulleditmode on…
Back again with another question. When I click a teen or child sim and then choose MCC I notice next to the sim's name in blue there is "(teen (or child): disabled)". What does this mean? I'm wondering if it's affecting my ability to edit body parts in CAS as I am unable to for some reason on current household sims. Or can…
I do not have the Appearance mod but will add it. I observed 4 days into the pregnancy but she never showed. I'm glad this isn't some crazy bug that's causing all this. Thank you for the help!
Hello again! I'm back with a new issue. :( so I'm using MCC to allow a very young adult to get pregnant and elongate the pregnancy duration to 5 days (along with various other things). One of my very young adult sims has become pregnant and I've noticed that 1. She is not showing physical signs of being pregnant (no bump)…
Well that makes sense then. Up until very recently I had been playing with aging turned off. I used to get very attached to my household and neighbors. Things have started to get boring so I started adding new households and turned aging on. Should make things more interesting along with the pregnancy mod. :)
