I didn't want to comment until I was able to sit down with the Sims again, but I hate it even worse than I thought I would. I'm always clicking that stupid thing instead of the Gallery. 4-ish years of muscle memory, and then they add this thing to screw everything up. REMOVE IT, NOW!!!

And let's not forget about the MAC Cosmetics "clown makeup" as I call it. Even though I have MCCC set up to use my Gallery as the source for townies and NPCs, and the settings normally require them to be exactly as saved--still, many end up with that strange makeup.

I honestly think that the way TS4 is set up, as well as the massive amount of changes required to every world in the game thus far, prevents us from ever having drivable cars, but interactive cars are possible.

TS2 came on a "Double Deluxe" edition from 2009 that I bought secondhand at a yardsale from a family friend. So far, that's the only one I've ever gotten that wasn't a download. Windows 11 (and to an extent, newer PCs with 10) are a pain in the rear end when it comes to running games from discs without several workarounds.

Seems like it has increased an insane amount since the last patch or two. It used to be very rare for my Sims to have a fire start, and now it seems like something is catching fire every single session--especially grills and other outdoor cooking equipment.

The actual hospital work needs a major overhaul, and I hope is one of the fixes. Regardless of your Sim's level, the receptionist, orderlies, and other doctors don't admit, diagnose, treat, or heck, even clean up the place.
