It already has somewhat been outclassed LOL I own one and already have had to lower settings in a few newer games (and i'm not playing in 4k either) It's sad :'(
That laptop will play the games fine on high settings. Yes you will need to install the games on the HDD instead of the SSD, but it's not a huge deal. I had a quick look and the one you were looking at seems to be the best for your budget.
@ladybreid Did you still need help with a new pc? Sorry i have been away from the forum this whole summer (yes it's a HOT summer here) Feel free to PM me if you need my help.
Sorry i missed your first post, links change when prices go up or when sales are on.. also stock levels can impact the links. No problem i like helping when i can :) Enjoy the desktop and feel free to PM me if you need any help :)
OK i can do a custom for you.. since it's black Friday there will be sales. Includes monitor/mouse/keyboard and mouse pad.. also has wifi. It will not stay this price for long as it is on sale. Will handle anything you throw at it without fuss including GTA 5. It however does not include a SSD, if you wanted a SSD then you…
These would most likely cost a little extra (have not controverted to $$) https://www.komplett.se/product/1069167/gaming/gaming-pc/barbar/acer-nitro-5-156-full-hd-matt# this has a larger SSD but still not additional HDD. it may be just enough for ts3 and windows in terms of space. This again is more expensive but the…
This would be a far better option https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/asus-rog-strix-gaming-pc-intel-core-i5-8400-1tb-hdd-128gb-ssd-8gb-ram-nvidia-gtx1050-windows-10/12468833.aspx? Your limited for cheaper desktops in Canada. (I'm assuming that's where your from given the Dell link LOL)
Nothing needs to be upgraded at them moment. later on down the track you may find you might want to add a better graphics card or more ram maybe even a SSD. As it stands now it should handle the game fine. More ram is not that expensive (between $80-$200 depending on what you get.) That's probably something i would think…
Remember with SSD you need to leave at least 10% of space free for windows (preferably 15%) for windows trim and other windows services. Also the SSD will start to slow down when being near full. Ts3 you notice more of a different because the loading times are longer whereas ts4 load times are much shorter so you don't…
These are good rigs https://www.chillblast.com/grian-s-red-box-3-by-chillblast.html?category_id=412 https://www.chillblast.com/chillblast-fusion-arrow-2-gaming-pc.html?category_id=412 You could configure something from psspecialist however it will be above budget as they are more expensive and need to be configured to adds…
Sorry for the late reply.. been busy. I was going to reply Yesterday but my dog started to swell and had to rush to the vet (She's fine now after having a few injections.. wasp sting.) With that budget you may need to look at things other then Cyberpower/Ibuypower because they tend to be more expensive for lower end…
Definitely a no with integrated graphics as it's not properly supported by the game. AMD is not all bad, you just need to be looking at something higher end with AMD (ryzen 5 and above) graphics card Nvidia GTX 1050 and above.
What Graphics card does it have? I personally wouldn't recommend gaming on a HP that is that small as gaming generates heat and that desktop has basically nowhere for the heat to go.. which is a bad idea. (no ventilation or fans.)
Both of those would need a new power supply if it's still using the original one. You're motherboard would have a slot for a new card but the power supply needs replacing. You may also run into heating issues with a more powerful card as those desktops do not have proper ventilation. You would need to spend allot more then…
I don't think game ready drivers for the sims games will ever happen. It's mainly for those hardware taxing AAA titles. I could never play a game like this at 4K because the UI would be tiny.
