I like one-parent families. There is no high chair hokey-cokey and the toddlers can use the nanny as a slave when the parent is at work. Plus one parent maxes out the parenting skill faster.
Fashion Street looks like City Living rejects. I disabled City Living due to the horrendous clothing. I'm glad Cottage Living injected a bit of Britishness into the oh-so-American game.
Yes, it's as if builders are trying to outdo each other and include items from as many packs as possible. And then there's MOO. I'm happy with the lots I have but I'd really like to download a shell and furnish it with premade rooms. Because nearly all the premade lots were custom-made for premade sims.
I started with Malcolm Landgraab & Nina Caliente and went from there. Five generations on, I've listed the current families under the chapters they descended from, named after Malcolm's children... Jeremy chapter - McManus, Elderberry, Knight. Jim chapter - Landgraab. Jessica chapter - Veleta, Labeikovsky, Gregory,…
I was one of those people. Hated the frequency of the dust and the constant inspired moodlet. Even if they have since balanced it out, I'm still keeping it disabled. These new kits sound nothing to write home about (which is usually the case) but we'll see.
Always read toddlers to sleep as it raises the parent's parenting skill and fun need and the toddler's fun need and imagination skill. It also counts towards the "read with an adult" part of the child's mental aspiration.
The problem with premades is that they often don't have the funds to remain in their homes. I was convinced the Watsons could not retain their farm so I had Tiberius Landgraab Jr. visit with a money tree seed. Rashidah is almost an adult now and will be moving out. The Scotts had triplets so I was forced to move them into…
One thing I was pleased about was the extra yoga class so sims can do yoga without feeling energised/focused/inspired. One of my sims bought a handful of facemasks but they were locked to the fridge in the spa. Very odd. Also the relaxed moodlet the facemask gave was overridden by the angry moodlet. Not good. Also, before…
The veteran families in my game are worth the maximum amount allowed. Mostly due to money trees and one sim did win the lottery. Generations of my sims have never had to work. But familiarity breeds contempt and I'm looking to have sims living in average houses with part-time jobs and maybe a hobby that supplements their…
The only thing that disappoints me is the monthly roller coaster ride of "will the next patch fix it or break it?" TS4 is my first sims game on the PC so I'm one of the lucky ones who hasn't been tainted by previous versions. I believe that TS4 was meant to be different from the others but I see simmers wanting it to be…
Weddings happen if a sim has the whim to. They take place at Club Calico, Brindleton Bay as it has the resources. And the bride changes her name every time (I wouldn't marry a woman who refused to take my name).
I had my scientist create the slimify serum and drop it off at the kleptomaniacs lockup before he died. Now all I need is my veteran kleptomaniac to swipe at and set it for sale at his shop.
