Holy crap??? You don't get it?? I said I agreed and acknowledged it repeatedly and further added to your point stating more joined that train. What's not clicking? ETA: Pixelade doesn't really pander. He is 24/7 hating on this pack on Twitter repeatedly and repeatedly even though people complained saying they get it. He…
Again, Harry Potter has more elements in-common with The Sims staples (AGAIN, just because it doesn't apply to everyone, it in no way invalidates it as a staple) such as university, school & magic than Star Wars ever will. New experiences being added and explored with each iteration doesn't change that fact. The Star Wars…
Each iteration of The Sims has added these packs so, yes it is a staple of The Sims experience. That's like saying Seasons & Pets are not part of The Sims experience now. I'm literally stating facts. If you don't like these packs that's obviously fine but to disregard them as a big part of The Sims is just ignorance.
It's not that serious, even MORE became MORE critical. Many used to be critical, e.g: (according to you) Plumbella. After the pack announcement, more people joined in doubling down on how The Sims team are not listening, e.g: Pixelade. I'm not talking about her, I repeatedly said gamechangers in general.
For sure, I agree. I still feel Amazon & Disney are the epitome of capitalism lol. Won't lie though, if we ever get a Disneyland pack, I'd insta-buy lol.
Nope, not personal bias. I can't remember a space pack off the top of my head but I do remember ton of university and school packs & even more magic related packs. I made sure to be objective when I said 'true to The Sims experience'.
I am not talking about Plumbella specifically though, she is the point of the thread but I was replying to someone who is talking about Gamechangers as a whole. Many have become more negative towards the direction of this game after the announcement of this pack and that's an objective fact. Also, I never watched a…
You're literally further reinforcing our point. The fact that EVEN Gamechangers, who usually do as much as they can to find justification for the price and have a slightly leaned perspective due to not actually paying anything for the pack AND make money off of it when creating videos on the content, hate on it...That says…
Genuine question, what will you even do in the world to treat it as a vacation? There's nothing other than taking screenshots and pretending to be at an amusement park and having a BB8 as a 'toy pet'. Nothing else.
It isn't much about getting new ideas as much about finally having thag depth and consistency in the content of DLCs. They've been lacking that since ever with this iteration.
It definitely feels like the straw that broke the camel's back. They just need to drop the whole "silent" act and be more forward with the community. I know they're not allowed to at the moment, but it's not helping and doesn't increase the hype in any way if that's the reason.
The most ideal solution imo? Put a pause to the stuff and game packs, gather up the employees and split them into base game team and expansion packs team to up the rate until all the core issues and iconic content that we've all come to expect from The Sims at this point are released at an appropriate/reasonable time then…
Yea but I still kind of feel it's the same, like I'm waiting till it gets its crap together with future releases but I'm also not supporting it atm. Anyways, I (obvs seen by the tag by my name lol) voted for the second.
Just because one pack doesn't fix everything, it doesn't mean you don't take the initiative to start slowly fixing them pack by pack. Also, YES the Star Wars pack IS the cause of the problems of The Sims 4. It's that continuous trend of supplying us with side packs that have scarce use in main gameplay and being forgotten…
