Magnolia Promenade and Forgotten Hollow might as well not exist since I never go there in ANY save. Surprisingly, I don't use Glimmerbrook at all either, even though I bought the pack for the world. I really wanted an isolated rural world, so I will be so glad to get Cottage Living, much more up my Alley than the…
I'm thinking I need to have a sim grow up as a responsible baking/cooking queen who will go on to buy a small cottage B&B in Henford on Bagley. Fresh meals from the garden and farm every morning and evening! Also might start finding CC for a new UK based decades challenge, also might start farther back in the Regency era.
The lots in the non celebrity neighborhood could have EASILY been split into half doubling the size of the neighborhood. Those lots are ridiculously big anyway and close together small lots look way better in a city setting.
If it is subscription, multi-player, or online only, then I'm done after 21 years playing. The sims has never been about those things and it will absolutely wreck the franchise.
Yes! Our IRL "grand meal" on Christmas day is always prime rib. The BEST. Would love more grand meal options. Would also love a dim sum style grand meal as well.
Yeah, I think the collecting will work the same, there will just be more reason to get out there and forage since we might need constant fresh ingredients for lot traits.
So far, whatever the cost is of everything minus Batu (still don't know how to spell that, still don't care), and the kit with just the clothes in it. Although, I do sometimes buy expansions early on sale from CD keys. Now wondering what I've spent in total for all sims games? Been playing for 21 years now, so I'm sure…
I honestly think that is just referring to the next pack. They know occult simmers are foaming at thr mouth for their next big content to come out. I believe the next game pack will be occult.
Yes! I was expecting to be able to have my decades sims start in the magical world, whatever it is named, but it looked ridiculous. This world looks PERFECT and the assets and game play are going to add so much to historical challenges.
As long as world's are bigger than Del Sol Valley, I'm fine. That was the only world that felt ridiculously small to me. A small village makes sense to be less than 16 lots, a huge metropolis with movie stars and community lots...not so much.
Mind blown. My only con is I've just recently got my decades challenge to the 1950s already when all this gorgeous farming stuff comes out. Whelp...time to start over! 😁
@sims929292 It runs amazing so far with everything installed. I also use 1 mod (MCCC) and a small amount of CC for my decades challenge. I like everything about it except the extra screen above the keyboard, I never use it and it is unnecessary, and of course I wish I could use it in my car with my converter. Other than…
If you're not on a tight budget, I play on an HP Omen 17 gaming laptop, all packs installed (except Batu sp?). Will caution you though, wish I had known it was too powerful of a laptop to play in the car plugged into my converter. Love to play on long road trips, but I'd have to have a battery direct wiring to play it in…
I'm living for the glimpse of the new world on the postcard front. I'm thinking it will be PERFECT for my decades sims. Just hoping it's not "magical" in any way like the last rural world we got.
I'm 39 weeks pregnant, waiting for my baby to make an appearance. Wish the pack was playable now while I was waiting! I preordered, but not sure when I'll actually be able to play. Possibly over Thanksgiving?
