  • I think that if there is no colour customisation in Sims 5, then I most likely will not bother with the game. No colour customisation and not being able to edit neighbourhoods in Sims 4 has caused me to pretty much stop playing Sims at all. If they bring these back, I may consider playing again.
  • The most important things I would like to see in Sims 5 are: 1. An open or at least partly open world where I can follow any of my sims around if I choose to. This means that one of my sims may be at the park but decide to meet up with another of my sims as they come out of work, or leave school. I can't run around the…
  • Oh dear, I'm way into the minority 40% then. Being retired means I can build on the sims as much as I like, with no restrictions on my time or how long I play whatsoever!
  • One thing about Sims 3 that I really loved was the open world and I really, really miss it in Sims 4. I used to like zooming out of my current lot to see my sims children come out of school, or have my sim meet their partner outside their workplace. I miss being able to see my sims driving out to a different area of the…
  • Cottage Living may just bring me back to Sims 4 because I really like what I'm seeing. If they didn't want to do horses because of all the extra animations involved, perhaps they should have just done a pony which you can't ride rather than a Llama. Still, I really like what they have done and I've been waiting a very long…
  • A create a world tool in Sims 4, which appeared in its predecessor, Sims 3, would fulfil all players needs and would have helped to make Sims 4 the great game it 'should' have been.
  • I have to agree that the art style in Sims 4 is pretty good although if I'm honest I have become a bit fed up with the clunky appearance of everything. I would like to have seen a more normal appearance without everything being so chunky and big. It's a nice style to be sure but it's the ONLY style which tends to wear a…
  • I have Paralives on my wish list on Steam and can't wait for it to become available.
  • When I hear them say they are listening to their fans my first thought is always 'No, they're not.' Actions speak louder than meaningless words, in my view. After spending literally hours and hours playing Sims 3, I find myself totally disappointed with the direction Sims 4 has taken, to such an extent I rarely open it. On…
  • The game has become too childish for me. I don't want adult content but I would like to see less childish behaviour replaced with 'normal' behaviour that isn't over the top childish.
  • Empty shelves are not cool. What is the point of making shelves for Sims 4 if at the same time you don't also make decorative items to place on them? Another let down for Sims 4, in my opinion.
  • A colour wheel should definitely have been put into Sims 4 to offer the opportunity for those who wish to use it. Obviously it's not going to be important for some but there are large numbers of players who miss it. I'm one of them.
  • Cars, garages and driveways are a normal part of life for many, especially those with the kind of houses found in Sims 4. Leaving them out was just ..... crazy. I've never understood why they were left out.
  • I never add any kind of music player in any of my Sims' homes because I can't stand my sims continually dancing. This means that I, myself, can't listen to any background music in my live game, which is a pity.
  • Sims 4 absolutely dropped the ball with the lack of any kind of colour customisation. It was a major error on their part, in my opinion. Hopefully it will return in future versions of the Sims.
  • I never had a problem with the rabbit holes in Sims 3; in fact I liked them because it gave the game added interest visiting them. What I would say, though, is that I preferred using the rabbit hole doors and rugs offered as mods because this gave the player the best of two worlds. The mods offered the function of the…
  • I ask myself why they have taken a lot of things out of this game. Dancing together is just one of many things which has been taken from what used to be a very good game until Sims 4. I'm assuming it's because it was intended to be an online game but who knows?
  • I always used to put my camera into the 'follow sim' mode so that I could follow my sims around the open world. You can still zoom in and out while following them, which is useful.
  • From my perspective, and I come from a dolls house and miniature house building background, what I would want in a game is freedom to build and freedom to let my sims do what I want them to do - nothing more, nothing less. I would like to create buildings that match my imagination, with the tools that allow me to do so. I…
  • When you look at how popular Create a World was with so many players in Sims 3, I find it literally amazing that it wasn't included in Sims 4. To take it out of the game was ..... what was it? ...... I have no words. There are no words. :(
  • After having colour customisation in Sims 3, there is absolutely no excuse for not including it in Sims 4, which has dumbed down just about everything that Sims 2 and 3 offered. They ignored multitudes of players when they created Sims 4 and I'm one of those players. Do they care? Nope. It's like a dream come true to find…
  • I like building but I hate the time it takes to decorate and find objects to match. I really, really dislike how difficult it is to match up furniture. It's so limiting and so time consuming to find stuff. It ruins decorating for me. I like the way the Sims look but I hate the way they sound. I love that I can take my sims…
  • I think they really dropped the ball when making Sims 4. To not offer Edit town, create a style, create a world and create a pattern was crazy after offering them in previous games. Why did they take so much away? In Sims 3, if you got fed up or bored with one aspect of the game, like gameplay for instance, you could still…
  • The words StopEAAbuse suggests to me that players are abusing EA, and that was my first thought when I read the title of this post.
  • It's the constant talking that drives me mad. I'm absolutely sick of hearing voices throughout my gameplay. Don't they ever shut up? It would be horrible in real life if I had to listen to people endlessly talking without ever being quiet! Even in the middle of the night! It seems to me that this problem of incessant…
  • I have to admit that if EA don't up their game with Sims 5, I won't be moving forward with The Sims. It's changed, and not for the better! I will never, ever understand why in Sims 4 they removed Create a World, CasT, CAP, and all the gameplay that used to exist in previous games. I don't get it, and I don't think I ever…
  • You're right of course. If you're bored it is best to stop for a while and yes, the world is full of exciting things to do. However, I don't think this is quite what they had in mind when they created the game. The whole idea of game creation is to pull the customers in and if it's not doing that, then the game isn't quite…
  • The idea of sims sitting alone as you describe makes me think of online worlds where individual players would sit together on whatever is around and chat. Lounge on a chair in the sun alone made me think of words like Second Life and Kaneva (now gone). This feature must be a throw back from when they were going to make…
  • As I see it, perhaps Sims 4 HAS been downloaded by 7 million players but where is the information relating to the happiness and satisfaction of those 7 million players? I'm 1 of those 7 million and I'm definitely NOT happy with the game, despite many aspects of it being better than before. There is too much lost as far as…
  • I agree. I also think a lot of people will want to play it. I'm one of them! Not because I want to be, but because EA forced me out when they decided to take out just about everything that first attracted me to playing the Sims in the first place.
