I unmerge my files. Merging them had no positive effect on load times for me. In addition, you can have one file in a merged file creating a problem and it makes it hard to find!

I am having trouble adding fish to my pond. I click on the sign to add fish, then click to Manage pond and no fish are added. Sounds like it might be too many objects. If you hit the control key (CTRL) when you tap the link, it will open in a new window. It tends to open up a second forum page first that says You are now leaving etc. etc." Tap and hold CTRL when you click the link on that page and it will open it up in a new tab. Just hit enter in the address box and it will download.

Did you try removing your mods folder and repairing your game? Sometimes mods corrupt game files and the issue doesn't show up until a patch is released. Also, you should really stop being so snarky and rude about it. If you want to only complain and don't really want help, this isn't the place to post it.

Haven't had this problem but it's easy to fix. You can just evict them. Then go into the lot and change the type to residential and then move them back in.
