I guess someone will have to get the Wayback Machine rolling! (but yeah, that may be a useful solution to certain content being lost, if one has time, no?)
Both are equally important. What matters is whether or not the time, budget or something else game development related allows for them to reach their imagined potential. So far, it doesn't seem like that's the case majority of the time. Not for the price tag these expansion packs are asking for, at least.
Journey to Batuu. Do not care for any of it and from what I've seen of its gameplay it looks like a complete bore. If this pack was available for free, even then I would not get it. My Wedding Stories. Almost legendary because of its bugginess and it frightens me to be honest. The world looks good, but otherwise, meh.…
There was an ancient, now almost mythical, period of time when it felt like that no matter where you went, there was always at least one person asking for pets and/or seasons. We were given camping, restaurants, more careers, city apartments, and many free updates, but nay... nothing could ever come ahead of pets and…
I don't really care if they continue it for only one, or even five more years. Because I don't see myself upgrading to the next generation unless it has learned from four's mistakes (and GREATLY learned!), but even then I'd join only about few years into its lifespan. For TS4, I think there are still ideas for more…
I would much prefer a more reactive and dynamic environment, but in the end there should be some sort of option to change this kind of stuff (such as a "difficulty slider").
Honestly, kind of miss the times when expansion packs had like 4 (later 2) separate gameplay trailers. But I guess the devs want to put more emphasis on the livestreams now. Overall, the trailer left me cold. A lot of the stuff seems a bit... surface level? Like yeah, you can make nectar, and it'll be bad at first, then…
If it has enough amount of good content to do with horses and some off the grid stuff, I might buy this alongside Cottage Living for my medieval/fantasy save file that I will eventually do, but definitely not for a full price.
Get to Work - It would be nice for aliens to get a refresh and some of the aspects that other life states have (like abilities, skill trees and all that). The pack also needs aspirations and new traits (I feel like every expansion pack has to give them). The careers themselves could get improved, but I think the retail…
Pre-teens coming in a pack would be ridiculous, especially since toddlers and infants already came in a base game update. Though obviously with infants the major portion of gameplay is locked behind the expansion pack... I guess I'd be fine with pre-teens in an update, granted they come with good gameplay. It would make…
