Looks like the Moderators merged your thread to the thread I was linking to previously just look up to one of puzzleaddicts posts to find a possible fix.
Since you mentioned you don't have Showtime installed then it's just one of the annoying reaction idles the game has. Luckily those don't have an affect on the sims mood just try to ignore it.
You don't need to login by the launcher just go to the Sims 3 Store website login there and download directly. The launcher login has always been buggy.
There is a big difference between SWTOR and the Sims 3. SWTOR is a MMO with a large active subscription base that brings in money on a monthly basis. Whereas the Sims 3 is a single player game that doesn't cause once people buy it they don't have to invest anymore money on it.
When resident ghosts made in CAS go into hibernation they sometimes get sent back to the underworld by the game. It can also happen to pre-made resident ghosts when they age up.
You can add ghosts from CAS if you know how although I've personally never done it. But they won't be the same as graveyard ghosts you'll have to place them in houses and make them residents. By default deers and raccoons are not pets and no it's not safe.
This is a glitch caused by the Seasons patch simply exiting to the desktop should fix it sometimes it might take a couple of reloads. It also affects the games default lighting at times.
No that one was fixed. That one didn't affect graphic visuals but the graphic cards performance where it couldn't utilize it's full power where it would cause the card to lag out, freeze or crash the game it also cause mouse lag and CPU spikes. And I just remembered that it did also affect Nvidia's RTX series cards the GTX…
That was a different issue that was causing problems with Radeon cards. This latest one just started around Nov 12, 2019 with KB4524570 on 1903 and 1909 and KB4523205 on 1809 and has affected both Radeon and Nvidia cards (Nvidia seems to be the most affected). It even went cross-platform into causing problems with the Xbox…
It's not like MS doesn't know about it. The same problem was also affecting games on the Xbox One but 3 weeks later they rolled out an OS update for the console and it no longer has the problem. All my computer games have been affected by whatever MS did including new games like Skyrim SE and Fallout 4.
The one made by JacksCreations is a pirated copy of Lucky Palms you might want to remove those links to it. I found out the hard way a few years ago when I installed it and ended up with duplicate items.
It is if you want to keep the population intact complete with their relationships without having to import them back in. And Porter has a problem dealing with pre-made resident playable ghosts it strips their occult state and pre-made resident playable ghosts break when their occult state is stripped by a mod. And I…
I don't currently use Traffic and my sims do that, not all the time but most of the time. It's a game bug and it starting to happen after installing Traffic is most likely just coincidence.
I know someone with 1803 and they have the same problem. It's was found to be a Windows issue earlier as it also affects other games. https://www.nraas.net/community/chatterbox/topic8132/o30 I have 1909 and it's even worse.
Rewriting the game engine with the resources that EA has would only take around year or even less it's obvious to me that they started the project shortly after it was announced that Mac was no longer going to support 32 bit. *Edit* After reading the Annoucement you may have missed the most important part a change to the…
The 64 bit wrapper would require redoing many parts of the game engine most specifically to memory allocation as it would no longer be possible to maintain the 32 bit limitations. Bethesda already tried that route with Skyrim as originally Skyrim SSE was only going to have updated graphics but have a 64 bit wrapper they…
If their computer was so old that they where still running XP or had a Pentium or Athlon you would be right. I have an old I3 2120 I just fired it up after connecting to the on board and well never had to into the BIOS and the on board kicked in and working fine. By the way my on board didn't show up in the dxdiag either.…
@ZeeGee it depends on the motherboard and the case but the on board graphics connection will be up with all the usb ports on the back it'll either be an old VGA, DVI or HDMI connection port.
You don't have to go into the BIOS all you have to do is connect the monitor to the Intel chip. Your computer will automatically use whatever graphics card it's connected too.
Actually it's not patch but a completely different version of the game as it makes significant changes to the game. It'll be able to benefit from the 64 bit architecture allowing it to no longer be limited to the 32 bit RAM limit.
Not bad the processor is slightly lower than the 3700X plus it has the 5700 I'd say go for it. I would evenually get a larger HDD or add another HDD. https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-Ryzen-7-3700X-vs-AMD-Ryzen-5-3600/4043vs4040
Other than better loading times the Sims 3 doesn't really benefit from an SSD and you can always swap those out. Unless the Operating System is installed on the SSD that could be problem if it doesn't come with an install Disc.
Now if this is only going to be used for the Sims 3 and even if you plan on getting other games this one can give you much more bang for your buck. The graphic card it has is very good comparable to a GTX 1060 6gb you can always upgrade that later if you decide you need more than what it has to offer.…
That is good computer but the Radeon 5700 XT's tend to overheat causing performance to drop because of the high burst speeds they have. The sister card the Radeon 5700 doesn't have that problem as it lacks the high burst speeds the XT's have. The 5700 XT's and the 5700 are essentially the same card just that the 5700…
Having a large lot with a lot of stuff yeah that'll slow the rendering down no matter how good a graphic card you have. I have Ryzen 7 2700x coupled with a Radeon RX 590 and that happens to me as well.
Store Worlds are encrypted. There is a way to remove the encryption from world file so you can open it with S3pe but I've never done it. Try asking over at Mod The Sims someone there might know.
