I enjoy a challenge in the game, and realism. Beginning the legacy challenge is one of my favorite ways to play the game (Sims 2, 3, or 4) because in the beginning of the challenge, it truly is a challenge, and my Sims have to struggle. I like options! Options are great, like options to make the game more challenging! I…
I love the vacuum kit! I love making my Sims do mundane chores. It's the only kit I've bought, and I have zero regrets. Paranormal Stuff is my favorite stuff pack and I wish it had been at least a game pack... or even better, a full-blown expansion.
Paranormal Stuff! I like the other two as well, but Paranormal Stuff is just RIGHT up my alley, exactly what I like. The only disappointment I have with it is that it's only a stuff pack, not a game pack. I want more of it!
Parenthood is the best one for sure. Seasons also adds stuff that might not specifically be for children, but are good to use with them, like holidays, building snowmen, stuff like that. Toddler stuff adds a few more toddler items that are really needed. Get Together might also be useful if you want to make a club…
Seasons for sure! I was SO excited to finally have actual weather in the game. And I liked all the furniture and such that came with it, too. To this day I still love TS2 Seasons, all the little details like how the light and ambient sounds subtly change in each season really adds to the experience.
I feel the same way! I'm not much a builder at all; my Sims tend to live in very boxy, basic lots. But I'm glad they added the terrain tools for people who like them and who will build nice lots.
Although I find myself playing in Willow Creek the most, probably because I'm the most used to it, my favorite world is Brindleton Bay, which just narrowly edges out Windenburg. :)
I hired a second vet but fired her right away because she turned out to be a klepto, and I'm tired of Sims stealing me blind. I took the cleaning responsibility away from the first vet, and it seems to have helped a little bit, although there was one day when she had one cat on the exam table until I shut the…
Some of the clothing items from earlier packs aren't active for hot/cold weather categories when they really should be. For example, Cats and Dogs came with a lot of heavy, warm-looking clothing items that I was expecting to see in the cold weather clothing category, and they're not. There isn't much variety in the cold…
Yes! I try to backup at least once a month, although sometimes it ends up being a little longer. I put them on a separate hard drive in my computer, as well as on an external hard drive. I would be extremely upset if I lost all of my saves.
Personally, I'm enjoying it. I know it is boring to a lot of people, but I enjoy making my Sims do chores, so I was happy to stick a washer and dryer in their houses right away. I also like the clothing and decorations that come with the pack. Laundry wasn't my choice in the stuff pack poll, but I'm fine with it.
I picked up with my legacy challenge that I started a few years ago, and I have been having so.much.fun! My generation 3 heir married Remington Harris, and since they are both family Sims, I decided they could have a lot of children. They had 5, one more spot free in the household, and I decided they could have one more…
I love this! What a great backstory you've made, I can't wait to read more of it :) I started the 100 baby challenge a month or two ago, but I gave up! It's TOUGH! I didn't delete the saves or the Sim that I created to be the matriarch, and I'm starting to think about trying again... I would share the story I posted about…
I'm having the same issue, and when I tried out the workaround it did work, although it's only temporary. Once a Sim turns it back on, the normal effect starts, and when it gets turned off again the orange notes reappear. And my Sims can't seem to leave the stereos alone :P I think you're right! That would make sense. It's…
Hey, I need some advice on something that happened in my legacy! So, one of my Sims (a spare) was a day or two from become an elder when he got abducted by aliens, and came back pregnant! I figured he would age up into elder a day or two after the baby was born, but when I looked, he had gone back to being only about…
I like this idea! Playing just a little bit each day sounds like a really good way to keep yourself from getting burned out, but also keep you interested in the game still. I may have to try that someday if I find myself starting to get bored with the game. I usually play when I get the chance, which isn't as often as I'd…
