I also wish they had kept the original. The new version is great but it is not the same. The "picked out" 70s fro was quite different but still something to cherish, in my opinion.

I have all the packs installed except one game pack (Journey to Batuu - which I bought but haven't downloaded yet). The program files--in Program Files (x86)/Origin Games/The Sims 4 are around 42 GB. Oh, there absolutely should be one. If they haven't added it yet, they need to do this. "Scared to Death" makes more sense than dying from telling too many jokes. One of my most memorable moments playing the Sims 2 was having Alexander Goth unexpectedly drop dead after being scared by the ghost of Cassandra.

Not only that but if there's a *garden* sprinkler anywhere on the lot, if there's a fire, it will be automatically extinguished by a sprinkler that mysteriously appears from the ceiling. Even without the "Fire Prevention System Utility Panel" installed. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

No. In my belief system, the ultimate goal of life is enjoyment (without hurting others, of course). When I play games such as the Sims, I'm enjoying myself. Therefore, I'm achieving my life goals!! Of course there is balance in everything. I trust in myself to discern that balance.

I am having a bug where my sims get fined for using too much water, only the Water NAP was never active. They do get fined. I don't know how to remove this popup/fine. Other than this bug, I am not having problems with the Eco pack. I am liking it so far, although I haven't played with the new neighborhood yet.

While I loved the dominant/recessive aspects of the Sims 2, I don't think the genetics in Sims 4 have gotten overall worse. If I'm playing rotationally, it's aging on for active family only, except at the end of the rotation, then aging on for everyone so the townies can age up. If I'm playing legacy-style (which I am lately), it's aging on for everyone.

I go through periods of playing and not playing the Sims. Right now I'm playing a different game. I am not happy with the bugs introduced with the June patch (in particular, the low bills bug) so I put the Sims on hold for now.

Yes far too much. Now it's 1/10th or less. Totally changes removes a vital gameplay element. My rich sims need a reason to keep working. Before, at least high bills could provide for a possibility of challenge. I do think it's a bug though, not intended.
